Well not completely too. Christ had about ten games under his belt including the praised Elite Series and Transportation Tycoon.I have the original RCT in my hands. It's amazing to look at that and say, "That was made by some everyday Joe in 1998? And it's that good?" Just blows my mind.

Its okay. In my circles most ppl idolize Chris Sawyer, Along with Jobs, Gates, Dennis Richie, and A few others.Ooh...
I only know Jobs and Gates. I'm very bad with names and what they did though so I could just as easily get one of them confused for what the other made and vice versa...Its okay. In my circles most ppl idolize Chris Sawyer, Along with Jobs, Gates, Dennis Richie, and A few others.
Lol its okay. You wouldn't know Dennis Richie unless you were in the computer Science field. He is the creator of C and cofounder of unix.I only know Jobs and Gates. I have no idea what that is but unix sounds familiar for some odd reason, but that's great to know... At the moment I have to freshen up on my programming notes for my class which is my least favorite class because of my teacher...Lol its okay. If you have ever used mac, you have used the closest "Popular" remnant of Unix. Government and a few other companies use unix, but not many people use straight unix for day to day home use.I have no idea what that is but unix sounds familiar for some odd reason, but that's great to know... Jobs...does...not...deserve...praise (outside of being a slave dri...er...intense businessman...and stealing others ideas, making them quite slick and sexy, and marketing them brilliantly)Its okay. In my circles most ppl idolize Chris Sawyer, Along with Jobs, Gates, Dennis Richie, and A few others.
Your right. I just threw it out there. He was a brilliant Marketeer, on the other hand. ALL PRAISE WOZJobs...does...not...deserve...praise (outside of being a slave dri...er...intense businessman...and stealing others ideas, making them quite slick and sexy, and marketing them brilliantly)
Well... I knew of him. And I'm not even close to being in the computer science field. But I subscribe to a lot of informative magazines, so I'm sure I heard of him from one of those.Lol its okay. Mucho respect as a marketer. Gates's theory was "get them hooked at work and they'll use it at home".Your right. I just threw it out there. He was a brilliant Marketeer, on the other hand. ALL PRAISE WOZ
I would agree with this, that is the problem with Apple. People follow them blinding (as I type this on my Macbook) which gets on my nerves as a Developer.Mucho respect as a marketer. Gates's theory was "get them hooked at work and they'll use it at home".
Jobs was like...forget the adults. Get the kids using it, then make it cool. A cult of personality.
This, of course, is a gross oversimplification, but it's a valid one.
Unfortunately, I have no idea what that is.Any Skillet fans here? They're doing a live chat at 11AM CST, AKA 12AM EST at skillet.com. #skilletchat
