Me too, it was my childhood. I am hoping they don't mess this up.Wonderful news! I remember loving that game.

I only have RCT3 and I'm fairly impressed at the realism of the game, but personally I'm more of a Zoo Tycoon 2 player.I don' t know about all of you, but I love of ride creation and imagination came from a wonderful series created by Atari: Roller Coaster Tycoon. Well after a decade on no PC games Atari Announced this. http://www.rollercoastertycoon.com/
The new mobile game is horrible, but I really hope that this new game is as great as the first three. My hopes are high.Me too, it was my childhood. I am hoping they don't mess this up.
You and Everyone else. Worst case we wait until my Company and I develop my versions. The new mobile game is horrible, but I really hope that this new game is as great as the first three. My hopes are high.
"Players will be able to build rides, shops and roller coasters, while keeping an eye on things like budget, visitor happiness and technology research. The game will also feature multiplayer capabilities, a first for the series. The player will be able to visit other players' parks, and share your roller coaster blueprints with others so they are allow to build them in their own game. The new multiplayer mode will also allow four players to manage the same park online. Unlike RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 Mobile, the game won't include any micro-transactions"I don' t know about all of you, but I love of ride creation and imagination came from a wonderful series created by Atari: Roller Coaster Tycoon. Or...if it's got plug in features (which seems implied with the multiplayer modules, that it could support it, at least in the future)...create a module plug in for DISNAY WURLD!You and Everyone else. Worst case we wait until my Company and I develop my versions.
Don't spoil my plans!!!All it needs now is compatability with SC4 for infrastructure and urban planning, and Mall Tycoon for Downtown Disney and Hotel Tycoon to design and run the resorts.
There is so much that could go well with this."Players will be able to build rides, shops and roller coasters, while keeping an eye on things like budget, visitor happiness and technology research. Not to mention the potential for a comp to be based off it!There is so much that could go well with this.
Well, it's not EA...so, hopefully they expanded on already good game concepts, instead of dumbing it down, like EA did with SC5!All I hope at this point is that it's actually good, and there is a huge custom scenery community like there was with 3. I miss being able to download Space Mountain, or a Chitty Chitty Bang Bang ride vehicle and put it in my park.
Vox, while you did a great job in the creation of new rides you had a sick obsession with crashing the coaster into crowded pathways. Your fired. Not to mention the potential for a comp to be based off it!
Teams of four managing a park to specified goals, and an elimination process where you can get "voted out"...
I can see it now.
England, you were voted off the island because you had ONE job...keep the rides maintained. So, what did you do? You canned all of the maintenance staff except Earl. Earl can't do it all alone! So, now do we not only have broken rides, but a car actually shot off one of the coasters and ended up crashing into the cotton candy stand.
Englanddg, you are voted off the island!
I'm just hoping that unlike RCT3 Soaked when they do their Water Park Expansion that half of my park guests won't be in the pool. The multiplayer sounds interesting and exciting, but for some odd reason when I read it my mind went to Sim City immediately. Also I'm hoping there be more ways to advertise your park (Commercials, Billboards, and Ads on Computers)."Players will be able to build rides, shops and roller coasters, while keeping an eye on things like budget, visitor happiness and technology research. MonorailRed. We understand your concept, and the rides are certainly intense. But, we aren't sure why you didn't place any bathrooms in your land. As a result, we don't feel that Barfland, as you named it, was all that great an addition.Vox, while you did a great job in the creation of new rides you had a sick obsession with crashing the coaster into crowded pathways. A bit of both.Poor Earl.
So, I must ask, I've always wondered… How hard is it to build stuff in Roller Coaster Tycoon? Like, do they just give you already done coasters and stuff? Or do you have more free design reign?
Both. And, not hard.Poor Earl.
