Chapter 10: The Battle

Figment and Yensid arrived in Mumbai Disneyland as the players were designing the final touches on the new Resort. Figment approached General @Outbound General @PerGron and General @Pi on my Cake - the 3 leaders of the Season, to embark on the mission to take back control from Waldo.

@D Hulk was busy putting the finishing touches on the park map, as everyone pitched in to design its attractions and assorted components.

Meanwhile, with the power of the artifacts collected throughout the season, Waldo summoned all his might against the forces of good that stood against him as @Pi on my Cake illustrated here.

Chapter 10: The Battle

Chapter 10: The Battle
continued

After a triumphant effort by @D Hulk with the completed Mumbai Disneyland park - the heroes outlasted Waldo and his evil plan with one valiant "snap" as Hulk brought normalcy back to the Sorcerer's Apprentice Universe. Even Waldo came around and was welcomed as a friendly character in the SAU for good.

As the snap occurred, everyone was cheering and celebrating the Hulk's victory as the 6th Sorcerer's Apprentice - but Figment had something inside his head that was keeping him from partaking in the celebration.

"Hmm...something tcool told me" Figment said to himself. "It's bothering me...I had to do something in the dream"

Figment then looked down and began to play his Nintendo Switch. Little did he know that in his subconscious, tcool was warning Figment to return the Switch to Tiki/Barker Bird from So, You Want To Be An Imagineer - as the excessive 'snaps' especially with someone else's Switch could trigger a cascading effect and be detrimental to all.

To take his mind off Hulk's Snap and the celebration - Figment powered up his Nintendo Switch nonetheless....

"Wait!" Figment exclaimed "What is going on? Why are there multiple Figments?!"

Suddenly the environment around Figment began to morph and collide into each other - creating a crystalizing perspective around him. All over the Sorcerer's Apprentice Universe - these effects started to unravel.

The effects came to a resounding halt and the Figments gazed out into what looked like a vast vacuum of stars and planets

A voice bellowed, in the acoustics of the former Peoplemover narrator:
"Now approaching - The Celestial: Hub of Imagineering" ​

Chapter 11: The Celestial

With a tectonic shift in energy, multiple iterations of Figment throughout the Sorcerer's Apprentice saga appeared through kaleidoscopic portals.

"We just saw so much" One Figment said to the other "Seasons of imagination flashed before our eyes"

Brooomm

A flash of lightning created an echoing array of vibrations, then suddenly, everything went black and white.

"What just happened?" all the Figments said amongst each other. "Where are we?"

Looking up at the glass pyramid above them, the Figments assumed they had teleported back to their home of Journey to Imagination. But they all noticed something felt peculiar about the environment, as if they were floating in an astral plane.

Gazing out the glass windows, one of the Figments put their claws on the glass to get a better angle, and suddenly fell through and landed in the middle of a black canvas of walkways. In every direction, all the Figments could see for miles were long dark pathways lit up in neon while along the sides.

"What is this place?" They all asked in unison. "Where is the Sorcerer's Hat?"

Looking in the direction of what would be World Showcase and the Epcot Resort Area, but could only see a faint glimmer of light in the distance. They began following the neon lit path towards the source of light. Entering through the gates of what used to be Disney-MGM Studios in the SAU, the Figments looked in awe at what was in front of them on Hollywood Boulevard.

Glowing multicolored, the infamous Sorcerer's Hat stool tall once again as the icon of the park.

"Is that our Sorcerer's Hat?" One of the Figments pondered "Yensid isn't going to be happy if we lost it again"

As the trio turned to continue exploring the vast open field they noticed outlines of Hollywood Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard beginning to materialize.

"I think this may have been a glitch, too many snaps recently the universe needed to reset perhaps?" one Figment thought out loud.

As the group began walking towards the pixelating outlines of the park, faint music could be heard playing down Sunset Boulevard. All the Figments turned simultaneously to reveal the street to their left.

The Hollywood Tower Hotel stood as it in 1939. Curious, the Figments followed the music to its source.

Entering the lobby the pixilation manifested as a party at the Tip Top Club - the same one on the night of the lightning strike. The trio prepared to board the lobby elevator to the top floor in order to find answers.

However, the elevator shot past the 13th floor and the surroundings went dark, before the elevator doors opened to reveal projections of various attractions current and past, all manifesting on the same astral plane with pathways connecting them.

"Figment?" a bellowing deep voice asked echoing through the plane.

"Yensid?" the Figments responded. Three iterations of Yensids approached the Figments.

"The Celestial, that's where we are" A Yensid responded. "Our universe has had some changes over the last few years. We've had villains take over, and we probably shouldn't have taken that globe-trotting vacation and allowed L.A.N.D. to wreck as much havoc as they did just recently. The shifts in styles, the many new expansions, the final snap burst the bubble of imagination and sent the entire creative universe into this multi-dimensional existence"

Yensid continued "Do you Figments remember anything unusual when you were transported to this time? Seeing attractions or situations you might not have witnessed before?"

"Yes we saw this attraction caused Legend of the Lost Army in the China Pavilion, a Digital Kingdom, even an attraction called Yogi's Jellystone Adventure to name a few!"

"Then my intuition is right"

"What does it mean, Yensid?" A Figment asked slightly nervously

"It means we are not alone in this creative field - we're all in The Celestial" Yensid replied "We exist in a digital multiverse now, a hub of imagineering - and we'll need to work together to reset this"

"Who else is with us?"

Yensid paused before declaring ... "Everyone"

The SAU just went from 0 to Magic: The Gathering real quick. The multiverse will forever expand.

The Figment and Yensid iterations from the past seasons of Sorcerer's Apprentice trekked forward across the vast sea of paths in the Celestial as they began to illuminate in their now colorful neon displays. Distant music reminding the characters of the old Wonders of Life began to echo through the open canvas of imagination.

Yensid 6 pondered to himself. "Remember when we were at Baby Brent's Lunchonette and we felt that shake? I thought it was the brainfreeze from ice cream, but that was the Stanza all 3 teams named their Cruise Ship the Disney Adventure, correct?"

"Yes it was" Figment 6 replied "I felt that as well"

"It was strange that all 3 teams came up with the same names, perhaps the multiverse was beginning to rip open all the way back then, the snap just put it over the edge." Yensid 6 remarked.

"I think the multiverse started opening up when someone made Tintin a Disney IP" Yensid 4 remarked

Yensid 5 looked below at the crashing sea at the bottom of the Celestial. "Perhaps sailing with the Disney Adventure will help catalyze events in motion and help us seek out those who can help restore the balance"

So the six of them boarded the Disney Adventure and set sail across the landscape.

Across the sea the Disney Adventure powered across the Celestial ocean and ahead towards answers on their quest. After traveling for what felt like hours, they spotted what appeared to be a lighthouse on the coastline. Giving off a mysterious aura, they noticed the name Cat's Eye Lighthouse on the side of it as the ship approached to dock. Figment 4 read a sign by @Mickeynerd17 along the shoreline that read:

"Welcome!" A voice rang out from afar, stopping his diligent work on a Muppets Hamilton show

"Nigel?!" the Figments exclaimed as he looked out to @NigelChanning09 "I had the weirdest dream about you, I can't believe you're here!"

"Woah, there are 3 of you? And what are you doing in the 1986 competition?

Yensid chimed in "All of these worlds exist on the same plane of imagination - it works for the Blue Sky Resort because there is no location for it, therefore it can't overlap with anything else"

"Overlap?"

"Yes Figments, see in competition worlds, sometimes parks, attractions, you name it, are constructed in the same spot. Let's travel back to Walt Disney World and let me know you what I mean."

Walking across the Celestial plane from the Blue Sky Resort of 1986, the trio of Figments and Yensids approached Walt Disney World - but not just of one competition universe - but of several. Gazing at Inventus - the 5th park of Walt Disney World in the SAU, Disney's Pioneer Adventure from the Great Movie Ride Competition, was morphed into it - creating a confusing mess of a combined park.

Gazing over at Epcot, pavilions were condensed together as well - in the northwest corner - the Future World pavilion was half The Seas with Nemo and half The Microverse Pavilion.

Figment 6 looked over at the Nintendo Switch he had borrowed and thought of tcool's warning in the dream. Did he help cause this? Or was it Hulk...it was most likely Hulk he said to calm himself.

However the Switch wouldn't turn on - so the Figments were out of ideas on how to reverse all this chaos.

The Yensids sat and pondered what the next course of action would be. Yensid 5 looked back at a photo he had kept in his robe to remind him of the good days. @D Hulk had drawn it for him after @Outbound won Season 5.

Looking at it, he noticed two people near the back row of the photograph - who could be the last resort for help, but are potentially powerful enough and capable of finding a solution to fix this Celestial.

"Figments - there are two brothers that can help us. They are our only hope"

That was such a blast to work on! Between the cast list, the gags, and everything in between! It was the first project of the season but one of the ones I remember the best

--Brief Announcement--
For those that have been following along - first off, thank you! I'm glad you've been having as much fun with this as I have.

In addition, we're coming up on the final chapter of the Holiday Special. It will be followed by some exciting and important announcements, so keep an eye out for that.

Chapter 12: Reunited

Whoosh...a blast of wind in the night.

The Figments and Yensids soon realized that The Celestial did not just unite all the heroes of creation, it also brought back the villains of destruction. Those that snapped the SAU in half back in Season 5, all returning for revenge.

The two mightiest villains, Chernabog and Maleficent, seeking revenger for their defeat at the hands of @Outbound in Season 5.

"Now, in this chaos, we shall finish this universe once and for all!" The powerful enemy Maleficent screamed.

"We need to find the ghosts Walt and Roy Disney" Yensid said "They're in the Haunted Mansion graveyard."

The Yensids and Figments from all different Sorcerer's Apprentice timelines rushed towards their destination.

"Walt? Roy?" Thunder clapped overhead "We need your help!"

"Ah, young Yensid" Walt responded calmly "The Celestial has combined many universes together, and now the villains plan to destroy it all. But when all seems lost, when everyone counts you out, that's when real imagination shines through"

"We need your guidance, sir" Yensid replied

"Roy and I see an inspired group of imagineers on the horizon. A group that will put the power of dreams to the test, and complete a set of innovative challenges that will fix The Celestial once and for all."

*Thump* Maleficent and Chernabog appear behind the group, ready to strike

"This group" Yensid commented "Are they here now? We could really use them" As the Yensids draw out their wands in defense

"Not yet, we need to escape The Celestial - we need to branch out towards the horizon. A timeline with no boundaries, where one can roam freely through time - a time of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy."

"Walt, brother, he's almost here" Roy stated

"That's swell" Walt said, as he turned around and looked towards a hillside he had placed the Sorcerer's Hat. The Yensids looked perplexed as they had been wearing the hat a moment ago.

"Where's the hat?!" Yensid asked "We're doomed!"

"Well" Walt shrugged "When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do"

Everyone turned around to watch a red hooded figure approach the Sorcerer's Hat on the mountainside
