2012...we traveled to Disneyland for Christmas (I don't like flying btw)

Our flight made an emergency landing in Nebraska on Christmas Eve...so we spent the entire day in a Lincoln, Nebraska airport in sub-zero temps.

Luckily when the new plane came...we got free TV I feel your pain

Though Disneyland is great! (if you can get there)

I'm planing a two week trip out west, with a week at Disneyland. and half a week in Flagstaff and a half a week in San Fran..

Disneyland is a million times greater then WDW.. I hate saying that, but I freaking fell in love with Disneyland while I was there.

Got to see Nebraska (from the airport at least)...which is something I didn't expect

So I can always say I've been there...

The contrast between DL and WDW is pretty cool. Just the setup and design of it. It feels weird at first. But in a good way

Agreed. Disneyland is very Relaxed compared to WDW.

I did three days last time and it wasn't enough.. Yes I will see other areas of Anaheim for a week, but I could just sit inside disneyland for hours and be happy. I study Theme park design in my spare time, so it's amazing to me.

The DL HM felt very truncated...like you walk through the first hallway scenes whereas in WDW you're already on the ride.

Cannot deny though that Pirates is 10x better in DL. Like it's not even close....

All too true.. And all because ours was rushed.

If I ever make the trip, that's on my must-see list even though I've rode the Magic Kingdom version five times.
