They have to broaden the time frame. The sequel trilogy ended with a thud. It doesn't make sense to keep pretending people like it.

It's a real life simulator that 6 years in still doesn't have CARS and lacking content from its predecessors. It'd be like if at Hollywood in DCA instead of further improving the 30's theme if they put a giant Guardians of the Galaxy space tower in there somewhere. Like that would ever happen

No one asked for this. Also, it's sad that their promise to live a Star Wars adventure finally came through but in Simlish.

On the more optimistic side, I'm intrigued how close a replica it is to the layout of SWGE; from what's visible in the trailer it looks like a pretty faithful recreation.

Well that is Barriss Offee. She technically could be still alive during the sequel trilogy. She was a Padawan during the Clone Wars and a friend to Ahsoka Tano. She ended up framing Ahsoka for an act of terrorism. Ahsoka left the Jedi order. When Anakin discovered the truth and Barriss was given a military tribunal lead by General Tarkin. Some think that after Order 66 she became the Seventh Sister Inquisitor and helped Darth Vader hunt down the Jedi. So she could still be alive.

As one of those dweebs, we were really hoping for a more grounded Expansion pack this time around. A lot of rumors went around for hotels and farming. Instead we got Batuu, with Star Wars already being at the bottom of most Simmer’s wishlists.

"Lucasfilm and EA announced last week that a galaxy far, far away is coming to The Sims with The Sims 4 Star Wars: Journey to Batuu on PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Available September 8, the pack will take players to Black Spire Outpost, the location featured at Disneyland® Resort and Walt Disney World® Resort’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, where they can create their own story with an allegiance of their choice."

My daughters and I love The Sims. I'm a long-time fan who has played ever since the original came out and I am sooooo disgusted by this pack. If EA wanted to expand on a space/aliens theme, why not use the aliens they've had in the game (Hello, Strangerville SUCKS!) instead of going in for this cash cow, because this pack is going to FLOP. Most Simmers are furious that this is the new EP.

I am not the person you addressed this question to, but it was hilarious! I only used the costumes when I had a sim in one of the performance careers, but it was very amusing when you'd stumble upon a townie in a cupcake brassiere.

I'm less enthused about weird looking townies in Sims 4, but I probably won't be able to resist this Star Wars pack. It will be fun to wander around Batuu via my Sims. I hope they get to drink the blue milk!

I love Katy Perry's music, but her EP was not great. Who the hell needs all that candy-inspired stuff in their game?? They could have just made her a bonus NPC or something in the game and called it the PopStar EP or something.

Hahaha! I've already created an alien character (my first in TS4!) with a ridiculous Batuu related backstory that I'm too embarrassed to share here. This wouldn't have been my first choice for next pack, but since I've never been to Galaxy's Edge it'll be fun to get to play around in it virtually.
