The new ride The Seas with Nemo and Friends in Epcot is that a ride made just for kids or is it for grownups as well? Thanks!:animwink:

Also - do a search of this forum and you will find many people's opinion on this -- from the attraction itself, to wait times, to people's opinions.

My own -- it's cute. It is definately designed for the under 5 year old set, but adults can enjoy it just like all the other attractions.

Very slick technology runs this dark ride -- although it has nothing educational going for it. There is one thread online which calls it "dumbed down" for kids. I don't agree -- it is what it is -- but it is cute and relies on a lot of video technology.

It spends three seconds incorporating the full tank with projections just before you get off. Otherwise you see no real fish during the entire ride.

Very cute, and very expensive. Be sure to look at the themeing in the queue area as you wait for your ride -- although you'll have to look fast because there is never a wait for this ride.

I think it is for everyone, we rode it about five times during our last trip. Our kids enjoyed it and so did we. It was very cute. Give it a try and have fun!!

I think it's a very well done ride. Very cool effects within the ride, such as the EAC, and the Angler fish, as well as when you swing by the aquarium. I won't go into any more detail than that so I don't ruin anything for you, but yea, pretty cool stuff.

My only main gripe is not a fault of the ride itself, it's how many people use flash photography on the ride. As much as I like getting blinded, and having machinery that isn't supposed to be seen exposed...yea...I wish they would do a little more to clamp down on it. Now I know that most people don't listen to warnings and rules, but it helps to cut down on a flash bulb going off every 1.5 seconds.

Are pictures posted of the ride interior anywhere on the forums or wdwmagic main site? The reason I ask is because a birdie told me that there were some good ones on the Walt Disney World news site. I'd like to see the inside of that ride.

So what about the manatee tank and all the fish that used to be in "The Living Seas"? Are they just gone except for a brief glimpse at the end of this ride? Or is there a seperate exhibit area in which you can still see these things, aside from the ride?

btw, I haven't been there yet to see it, but from what I hear and understand, and until I see it for myself and am convinced otherwise, I'm firmly in the "they've dumbed down a once great attraction" camp. To be honest, it thoroughly honks me off that they went and did that crap.
