I thought of that but I really think any sort of retrofit would not be capable of putting it on par with the newer tech aqariums such as the one in Atlanta. It is stuck in the 70's technologically. So I think in this case a "less is more" strategy might work better. If you have ever seen the coral reef tank at the aqarium in Gatlinburg, Tenn you would understand why it would be an amazing option for the Coral Reef restaurant at EPCOT. It is one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. Seriously.

I gotta agree with you this time around. The Seas tanks look old and tired, specially if compared with some of the newer stuff. While it has been years since I've been to a proper aquarium, the large tank you see while waiting in line for Manta at Sea World is absolutely beautiful, clean and bright.

Unfortunately I have not been but I have heard it is great. I think it is the result of new filtering technologies which it may or may not be possible to install at the EPCOT aquarium. If not, they should really consider a complete reboot of the tanks at The Seas. It could rather easily become the most popular attraction at Epcot by installing smaller more specialized tanks.

IMO of course.

Wow, good thing you posted that statement. Clears it up for everyone.

I knew you might or might not understand unless I spelled it out.

The point was that they might have to essentially rebuild............oh nevermind. You would argue the point anyway.

The Seas tank may not be all that impressive as, say, the Georgia Aquarium (which is AMAZING, by the way), the way I see it, its already there, it will likely be used for research and diving one way or another, and its included free with park admission.. so might as well keep it.

So you're saying that The Seas Pavilion is closed while the Whale Sharks get acclimated to their new home?
