The results are in...Beach Club here we come!

Hi all,

Thank you for all of your opinions and votes! So now I will you who wanted to stay where. I wanted Beach Club and DH wanted Boardwalk. He likes all the lights and action and I kept making the point that we are a quick walk away and from the BC room, we will be able to see the Boardwalk. I also really wanted the comfort of the YC/BC and the pool! I love that pool! But I pick so much about going to Disney, I didn't want my DH to feel I didn't value his opinion.

In the end, what really sealed the deal was room availability. We are using our AAA discount for a room only night. And when I called, there were no more water/garden views available at BWI. And the deal we got was great for a lagoon/pool view room at the Beach Club. Can't wait to get there now! We are super excited!!

I highly recommend the Cape May Cafe character breakfast!! The outfits are adorable, the restaurant theme is fun and the food is great!! Oh, and the characters just love meeting nannies!

Yes, we love it! One of the best character experiences ever! Goofy sat at our table and wrote questions for us to answer and Minnie and I danced around the buffet. It was great! I have it booked already!

I voted for the Boardwalk but after reading your thread, you made valid points on picking the Beach Club. The only reason I would stay at the Boardwalk would be because of the lights and action also. We stayed at the Beach Club in 2008 and loved it! The CMs were great and the smell when you walk into the lobby is wonderful! Have a great time and be sure to write a trip report

I would MUCH rather stay at the Beach Club and look at the Boardwalk than vice versa.

Great point. had the view of the BW from the YC at Christmas and it was awesome at night!!

Great choice - but given the advise you gave me about a week ago I could have called it. I often remind my DH of that old saying "Happy Wife, Happy Life." Enjoy your trip - wishing we would make a choice - but still waiting for some details to firm up for November (like DH vacation approval.)

I'm telling you - that DH vacation approval is a killer! The waiting is terrible!!! I hope it gets the time off!!!! November is a great time to go!

We're saving up for BC in 2014, but I do still want to go this year. Trying to save for AKL 30% discount in June. Haven't convinced hubby yet though. If we don't go this year, then 2014 will be a big one for us to celebrate my 45th birthday and the boys' 10th! Enjoy! Looking forward to your TR.

Great choice. Pool is great. Views towards Boardwalk unbelievable. The Boardwalk itself, we love. Ale and Compass and Crew's Cup are very nice. Good restaurants all around you. Swan and Dolphin nice to visit. You will have a great time. Enjoy.
