There was an article in today's Orlando Sentinel talking about it. It mentions that there's a slight change in the music played, but I'm tired and it was too confusing to tell exactly what it is.

I just read on Yahoo that Howard Stern has been pulled off of his Orlando station due to indecency. Big changes for the Orlando market.

No More Bubba in Tampa... and they are staring to phase out Infinity's Stern Show in other markets as well.

Uncle Mel at Infinty/Viacom is gonna catch hell... well heck... he already is. :lol:

It might be time to buy stock in XM or Sirius. There's a market for this style of radio and someone is going to have to fill it. If Stern goes to either company, their market share will surge.

I heard on one of those MANY news shows i watch late at night (so of course i cant remember which one...) that Howard got canned by Clear Channel... which would mean he's off EVERY station, not just the orlando one.

Yeah... he was on a TOTAL of 6 CC Stations nation wide.

I've listened to Howard Stern since he was on WNBC in 1983 and will miss him if he's off the air. A nother show I miss is Ron and Fez. They were on in NY for a couple of years and the show was drop dead funny. Ron and Fez used to be on in Tampa, right? Anyone listen to them?

You know who I used to listen to once in a while... when they were syndicated in Chicago... was O & A (Opie and Anthony). They were kinda funny and mildly amusing.

I miss Liz Wilde to... (female shock-jock'ish). Had a Great show here in Chicago... then she po'd the bosses and got canned... She was on a few stations in South Florida to.. Now she's in Ft. Worth Texas... but not syndicated here.

Sooo many good shows.. that are gone now.. or they are out in the sticks... and no one will pick them up on syndication.
