Oh, looks cool. Glad to see disney returning back to traditional animation. It looks beauty and the beast ish, hopefully another golden age of animation is upon us. Started with a princess, and then came back with another, and another, and hopefully another. And a good change of a typical disney princess.

That brought back a lot of nostalgia, in the sense of all the classic 2D Disney films. I'm so glad 2D is making a return, this will be one to see.

I might be yelled at ... but I'm still a little disapointed at Disney for giving in to the people that made such a fuss over the original idea. The art design was so wonderful and the concept was not any diffrent that other Disney Princesses. Here's hoping they some how work this outfit back into the movie:

I feel the same. Was the lightening bug drunk? Droopy eyes, unshaven (do bugs grow hair on their chins?), and slurred speech??

Maybe once all the other promotions come out it will get me on board with the movie?

After a second viewing of the trailer, I would have to say my expectations have certainitly been lowered for a number of reasons.

1. The music- I had high hopes when Alan Menken was rumored to be in charge of the music, but when Randy Newman was announced, I had to admit that I cringed. Not to disrespect the quality musician that Newman is, but the music in the Pixar movies he created is subpar. The music sounded great at the start, but towards the middle and end seemed pretty awkward.

2. "Princess" Tiana's voice- As SnowWhiteMomma pointed out on another thread, no Southerner talks like that! The voice could actually be quite insulting to some.

3. The Bug- Enough said.....

Now I understand that this is just a teaser and I am VERY glad Disney has decided to come back to its traditional drawling roots and I am still reserving judgement until we see more.
