The one thing you look most forward to

I have two moments. Just thinking of them brings on goosebumps.

1) Passing under the Walt Disney World sign as I officially enter Disney property.

2) That first look down Main Street in the Magic Kingdom (I intentionally keep myself from looking at the Castle while approaching the park until I'm right smack in the middle of Main Street)

Haha, the first glimpse of the Family(s) walking in through the gates in front of the line who one can obviously tell that, not only are they the epitomy of tourists with crocs and matching T-shirts and every single one has a backpack on and the youngest has the squirt bottle fan wrapped around her neck and the majority of the kids have some sort of crazy hat or visor on, and the parents videorecording everything and anything, but are ready to have some sort of amazingly magical day, no matter what.

Call me a freak/spectator...but the truth is, the best part of Disney is getting the slight glimpse of the families that seem like they'll enjoy their stay atleast twice as much as me and my friends will (which trust me, is saying a lot). That's what i wait to see every time a friend asks me if i want to go to Disney.

For me, it's when my glasses first fog up because of the Florida humidity (I fly in from Wisconsin), and also first hearing the "voice of disney" on a ride or a monorail.

My daughter and I love the feeling we get when we check in. Then the next morning we take the bus (another great feeling) and go to the MK but walk to the Contemporary for breakfast at Chef mickey's which is tradition. Then taking the monorail to the MK after that and passing under the tunnel into the MK!! There is no better feeling than that!! :sohappy:

Seeming that there hasn't been a good question like this I thought I would start. When getting ready, going and getting to WDW, what one thing do you look most forward too? A certain smell, sight, ride, taste, what? For me it would be seeing the resort for the first time as we just arrive, whether it's thwe one we are staying at or not. Just the site of it says we are there. :animwink: :D :sohappy:

There has been it was a couple of months ago

I don't know how crazy this is going to sound. (For a change, this isn't about the Adventurers Club.) :ROFLOL: One thing I really like is getting a Dole Whip and then heading over to the fastpass line for Splash Mountain. I don't know why, but I really like sipping a dole whip while listening to the area music there.

Where to begin, for me it is just a bunch of moments: Hearing the train whistle in the distance in the evenings, a Citrus Swirl, the howling coming from the Haunted Mansion, the entrance loop to Epcot, the smell of Tower of Terror, the first glimpse of purple and red road signs, etc. I guess I really know I have arrived though when we play our round of mini golf at Fantasia Gardens the afternoon we arrive, that does it for me everytime!

I love the way you can feel the "Magic" in the air when stepping onto Main St... man... 9 yrs since my last trip and dad with us (rest his soul)... this will be a trip to remember. And I cant wait to get on TOT... I still give myself the giggles thinking about how petrofied I was going on it for the first time during that trip but then felt a little at ease when my brother and I look over and see our dad getting onto one of the elevators!!!! LMAO, this short little old man getting on this ride that he had no clue about what it did. Im getting spine tingles thinking about it. :D
