The old 7 Seas lagoon wave machine?

Disney pioneered this technology in a water park called River Country. It's still used and in place at the WL pools, seemingly fed by BL, but the water that enters the pool is not directly from the lake.
Actually you have that backwards. At Wilderness lodge it is meant to look as though the water originates from the hot spring in the water travels down the creek in the courtyard then over silver creek falls and eventually flows into the pool. On the other side of the pool it is meant to look like the water flows from the pool down some small streams and into Bay Lake.

Looking at the above pic of the wave machine, ya gotta look at that and appreciate that someone somewhere engineered that, it got built, and now it's but a memory. I wonder how much money was sunk into that one project? It had to have been built/installed at the time the Seven Seas Lagoon had been dug out but not "filled" yet. Wouldn't ya just love to get your mitts on the prints and construction photos of that thing?
