What? It's not cold? I'm use to everyday temperature being in the 70's or 80's and snow is just an attraction for me. My body is not use to temperature below 68 degrees.

I don't live with my parents anymore, but roommate loves having the cool air on (I do too) and rarely use the heater. Unfortunately, the heater isn't working, hence me freezing. (That's right Vince, I'm freezing )

My mistake. I remember reading you saying something about living with your brother a while back, thus the assumption.

(I would offer to let you use my pants to keep warm anytime....but I certainly wouldn't want people misinterpreting.) :lookaroun

It was three of us living in my brother's house, my brother, myself and a friend of his. My brother is in Canada right now, so it's just me and my roommate. We use to be considered the Three's Company except it was 2 guys and a girl.

I'm loving the cooler weather we got here today. Midday temps in the 60s and 70s...I'm there.

Its 50 here, but with the 25mph sustained winds we've had since very early thsi morning it feels about 40ish. brrrrr

Going to have alot of yard work to do because my weeping willow tree is now shedding branches and the yard is full of leaves.

I am procrastinating today. I woke up late, and I have a Minnie shirt to work on, and halloween village to put away, and I should make an Apple pie....Our best friends may be here tomorrow, so I need to clean......and I have to agree, Its COLD! We rarely turn the heater on, we have had the pilot light off all summer, but we do use a small forced air heater in the bedroom. It seems like there was nothing between extreme heat and cold this year! *Brrrr*

I've always wanted to go to New York for the holidays...the pictures I've seen of New York in winter looks beautiful. Now, I wouldn't know if I could handle the cold...I'll probably need a parka. :lol:

After a day or two the snow gets dirty and even the decorations look sad.

Yep the same thing happens in the Chicagoland area.

I love it when the snow is fresh and white. The trees are covered with white snow.

Then reality sets in, you have to drive in it, the salt trucks and snow plows are out. The snow turns dirty.
