the next Country at EPCOT

I don't believe it would be Ireland or Scotland. They are pretty much included in the United Kingdom. I don't recall seeing anything specifically from either of those two countries, but they are part of the UK. It isn't just England the UK pavillion represents.

I like the Egypt idea.

Maybe Brazil. I read that someplace on a different post. They don't have anything from South America. South America was one of Walt's favorite subjects it seems. (Three Caballeros, a couple of gaucho shorts, etc.). He sent people down there to study it.

Scotland is part of the UK, but Ireland isn't

First a statement...I Voted for Ireland. Second a question...How much room is there for country expansion at epcot do they have the room?

I forgot to list Jamaica, mon. Steel bands, and they could reuse the orange smell producing machine from Horizons. It wouldn't necessarily be used to make an orange smell :animwink:

Not Ireland, that's part of the UK pavillion already. My picks are:

Greece
Spain
Brazil (they probably don't have the $$$ to sponsor it)
Russia (although I don't think they can afford it either, can they?)

Not Isreal. It would have too many possiblities for conflicts. Let them figure it out over there first, before we bring the fighting to the most Magical place on earth!

Northern Ireland is a part of the UK kingdom. For those of us who where born in Ireland. We where born in the Republic of Ireland where we have no queen.

What you have to remember is that alot of the money comes from the countrys funding. I remember that when israel was approached they needed their money to buy weapons instead. I think it happened with africa also. Thats why it never got past the soda stands. Many countries just cant afford anything like this. I still want spain like in the first plan.

Greece or Egipt deserve to be the next pavillion due to their history; the others can wait. Greece was the cradle of civilization, while Egipt has a so unique culture so distinct from the rest of the world that it would be great to include it.
About Switzerland: For those who don't know, it's a relatively new country whose lands are divided in three well-marked zones: The german part (Zurich); the french (Geneva) and the italian (Lucerna). The three countries are already in the world showcase, so the Swiss pavillion won't be so much different than them, save minor details. Structures, story, languages...that would be somehow redundant.

I would go with Ireland. Think of the Beer and the whisky and the Little Leprechan Thrill ride chasing him for the pot of gold while you fall down a rainbow into a vat of Guiness.

Let us reach out!

I think they should have a joint venture with Iraq and Iran. They could call the exhibit the new nation of "Irrational".
