I didn't know where else to put this question and i feel soooo stupid for asking this question infront of all of u disney fanatics but....

why is EPCOT called...... EPCOT? wat does it mean?

EPCOT was Walt Disney's dream for a futuristiy city. In fact, the Florida property was purchased with EPCOT as the main project. Of course due to monetary restrictions, EPCOT was not the first complex built. Walt died before he could see his dream become a reality and EPCOT basically died with him. The EPCOT that we all know and love is NOWHERE near Walt's dream. This is mainly the reason the EPCOT acronym was removed and it is now known as simply Epcot.

Today, Celebration Florida is the closest thing to Walt's orginal EPCOT dream.

LOL! I am just "torturing" him a little.... hehe

It´s funny, but this things don´t happen in Spanish because the words are written exactly as they sound, so it really calls my attention when americans write the words as they pronounce them and the spelling is not the same.

Of course, I don´t mean to offend anybody, I am joking as Marcia says.
