The order of DeMolay is a youth group that is sponsored / proctored by Freemasons.

Walt was a very active and proud member of DeMolay

A lot of symbolisim in Freemasonary has to do with the orientation of buildings and directions of the compass.

Hence, Walt -> DeMolay -> Freemasons -> Castle orientation -> Illuminati / New World Order / Bilderberger / Skull & Bones / Secret room with Walts frozen head under the castle. (Oriented so he can see the rising sun) :D

The first 2 castles were indeed built for this reason. Tokyos was built to protect the park from storms since it is landfill in Tokyo bay; the rear backstage area of Fantasyland takes the brunt of bad weather and so the rest of the park is orientated to suit. Paris almost corrects this but as mentioned the entire resort is strangely orientated to the NW, with the castle front facing the SE. I`d hazzard a guess that it is further north than DL or WDW and so the sun dosn`t get as high, consequently the building looks good all through the day and year from MSUSA (as well as from Fantasyland - sunsets hitting the rear are stunning)
