The aforementioned air jets in the bat cave are a fantastic idea. Finally, something to replace the red eyes that disappeared years ago! Just finished watching a YouTube video and it appears the lighting has changed in the cavern with the rainbow pools so that now the colored light appears to reflect on the ceiling. The waterfall was off, however. Pleased to see the climactic explosions in working order.

Hopefully the running water in the queue and the waterfall along Big Thunder Trail haven’t been axed.

That waterfall change is gross to me. Not sure why but it's pretty upsetting and a huge downgrade.

Some fans are already trying to justify it, like yes I'm sure a multi billion dollar company can't run a water fall effect.

Agree. It’s a waterfall. Figure it out guys. Just an excuse. Any possibility it’s B mode? Probably not. Anyway, this is modern Disney/ WDI. You need to hold your breath and pray every time there’s a refurb, replacement or retheme. Who knows what awaits us with Storybookland? Maybe some dumb signs everywhere or more artificial turf?

Anyone happen to see a video of Zootopia Better Zoogether yet? It’s bad.

Rumors I've heard on various parts of the internet is that they've been having issues with the water in the mountain for awhile now. Its why the water on the outside waterfall has been off and on for awhile. And that a permanent fix would require a longer closure.

My guess is this is just temporary, but we'll see.

This would only make sense if the plan was for this to be a permanent B mode. Otherwise they have run this attraction without the waterfall plenty.

We'll see, but my guess is still this is temporary.

The water equipment was built under the entire structure and they'd have to tear apart the whole mountain to fix it. I guess the water pump is huge and on it's own support. The support cracked but it's under everything.

I hope you’re right. I think it’s an important part of the scene between the aesthetics and the sound the water creates. They should do everything they can to keep it running.

Maybe I'm misremembering, but wasn't the "mist/fog" also there previously along with the waterfall?

No, only mist was during the last lift hill.

Ok, I thought I remember vaguely some type of mist/fog effect on the waterfall, but maybe that was natural with the water itself.

They keep adding more and more decor, meanwhile Disneyland still gets the same, bare minimum. Fantasyland is never decorated out here. Sigh.
