If you put the merge sooner, it just creates an even longer line before the merge. Remove LL entirely and the line becomes shorter. Sometimes I wonder if the merge cast member is aware of the last time they let stand by go in. They seem so dazed.

Yeah if they really want to make a dent in the pathways just remove LL. Right , not sure what I was thinking when I wrote that.

I'm pretty sure Disney's upper management doesn't think at all. If we have to keep the LL, then the merger should be as close as possible to loading.

haha nope not usually.

I think the new configuration allows for more standby guests in the courtyard. So between that and perhaps a more favorable standby to LL ratio maybe they can get away with it? Have to look at the video again to remind myself why I thought what I wrote made sense.

No, there'd probably be at least 5 of them, scaling a coaster.
Well, it is hot there.

Saw the Minecraft movie in 4DX and it did not disappoint. I had no desire to see this film and my expectations were low. There were more than a few laugh out loud moments and not kidding when I say that this film in 4DX is more intense than Indiana Jones Adventure. At one point popcorn literally flew out of my lap and a few feet into the air. The arrow effects even work better than Indy since the air holes are right next your ears. It was a lot of fun.

Just got back from 2 days at Epic Universe. I’ll try to post a coherent review very soon, but… quick thoughts:

-Beautiful…spectacular…SUPER fun…
-Running smoothly enough that I nearly forgot it was a preview period.
- Battle For The Ministry and Monsters Unchained are amazing (And I was delighted with how much FUN Monsters Unchained is!)
-Though I didn’t ride Stardust Racers…yet… (because it’s super intense and I’m OLD)…I can at least say Mack Rides has created the most spectacular, fun-to-spectate coaster on the planet.
-Hiccup’s Wing Gliders is one of my favorite rides—right up there with Ministry and Monsters in a different way. It’s everything I hoped it would be; thrilling enough for coaster fans, not too intense for families, and great fun from start to finish.
-Most importantly, Epic Universe is CHARMING (yes, even Dark Universe)! I would understand if Universal turned out to be a bit hesitant to offer annual passes to this place… Because locals are going to want to LIVE HERE. 😃 It has a very welcoming, good-feelings-generating vibe (Yes, even Dark Universe, but especially in Berk and Celestial Park.) Excellent food, too!

Posted my thoughts on Epic’s rides over in the Universal Hollywood Thread. I ranked one particular ride a bit higher than some might think it deserves, but… hey… Werewolves are awesome! 😃

Glad to see someone giving that ride some love. It's been taking a beating on these boards. Haven't ridden it myself yet (going to FL asap), but I'm curious if it's really as bad as people (on these boards, many of whom have not been to the park) are saying.

Last night (at about 12:15am) my train got cycled through Space Mountain a second time. The CMs didn't even ask us if we wanted to go again; they just sent us back through. For the kid sitting behind me... it absolutely made his day/life. I wonder how often they do this.
It’s because the ride is about to cascade, the people in the car in front of you got in and/or out too slowly, you benefited. Happened to me once, it was great.

Yeah it’s awesome. So it’s not necessarily a late-night thing? Could the trains potentially cascade (and so some folks get a free extra ride) at any time during the day?
