Got this amusing email this morning from Disney Rewards:

Perpetuating one of the largest misquotes of the century (No, I don't believe in the Mandela Effect). Pretty sad that "Disney Rewards" can't even get a Disney quote correct. 🤣

I’m more annoyed that they just flat out abandoned the rhyme in the second half. Would “who is your Disney style icon after all?” have been so difficult.

As much as I love visiting Japan, that's one of the few things I don't enjoy there. People get right up into your personal bubble as you wait in line; at taxi stands, or Tokyo Disneyland, or at swanky department stores.

We still have a larger personal bubble here in America (not a fat joke), but I will miss the little marked spaces on the ground six feet apart. They're mostly gone now in San Diego, or if they are still there they are worn away and ignored. :(

One can be aware of Monkeypox being out there, take reasonable precautions, not panic, factor in news media being news media, and give a nod to those who bear the brunt of trying to keep the public alive that maybe sometimes it’s better to err just a bit on the side of caution when it comes to new diseases appearing.

None of this is mutually exclusive.

But even before Covid, I was Purell-ing my hands after using those crusty Toy Story cannons anyway. :D

What's funnier is that she refuses to sing the song anymore because the lyrics hit too close to home to the recent mass shootings....well....to her it does anyway.

She wouldn’t be the first performer to look back on past work and wish certain lyrics had been different.

Then there’s the Rolling Stones… 😃

You can see this in action at Universal Studios Hollywood. The Chinese tour groups love Universal. When your in line, they will totally be as close as possible to you. You almost fear for your wallet.

I definitely have to prepare myself for that when I potentially visit next year! 😫😫😫😫😫

Ok this is legitimately great. A+. If you show up on time will these be easy to get?
I'm going to try and do the mobile order on Friday and then pick up around noon. That's technically the only way to get it on Friday though it's entirely possible Sam's will start selling them that evening (the fine print says they go on sale at Sam's on Saturday). We'll know more on Friday when we see the boxes...how many boxes and mugs per box will give us an indication on how may produced. My gut tells me they will be around for a bit and note that there are 2 new drinks for this mug as well. It also appears Orlando's Grog Grotto will be getting the same mug but a different glaze in the not too distant future.

FYI, mug cost is $50.

So I spent the evening with my 2 daughters at Disneyland/DCA last night as my pass is expiring in 9 days. I must say that DL at night is an absolute nightmare once the entertainment begins. Just an absolute cluster to move around, especially after the first fantasmic and start of the fireworks. I can't imagine ever wanting to go back at night which sucks because that's really when Disneyland truly came alive for me. Overall, our visit truly cemented my decision to not renew my MK. Just really not enjoyable at all anymore. And yes, I saw a half dozen people wearing Unfavorable Mix t-shirts to which I just had to shake my head. People really do need to get a life (yes, i know i posted pics and links to the t-shirts but to actually wear one? Ugh).

Thanks so much for the information. To mobile order the mug do you have to be in the Disneyland area or can you do it from home?
