Why isn’t the meatball meteor lit up? Why are the top lights in the tunnel not working? Why did they block out that great window in the queue where you could see the glow in the dark rockets whizzing around in the dark?

If you look behind you after the lifthill on Hyperspace Mountain you can see the meteor illuminated by the projection.

Because that window let light into the ride. I prefer the increased darkness to the window... but the queue certainly isn't as much fun now.

It doesn’t fit Space Mountain’s 1970s aesthetic but I don’t know why it wasn’t repurposed somewhere in Tomorrowland.

I love how Disney's PG sci-fi mystery where Anthony Perkins gets slaughtered by a robot's knife blades was made into a children's pop-up book (that was genuinely well done!):



It's like Disney's marketing department asked "what's our big Christmas release for 1979?" and when they were told a movie not intended for small children, they said "doesn't matter, start making the toys!"
