In a magic place where everyone gets along and talking hamburgers dance with soda-selling dinosaurs, the greatest game in the world gets a sequel tomorrow. So, goodbye, Planet Coaster 1. Thank you for all the joy and stress-relief over the past several years. Thank you for getting my family and me through the pandemic (you and Animal Crossing).

May your sequel—mere hours away now—shine and inspire. May the great new pathing system bless the world with heavenly plazas for years to come.

And— oh, right, there’s an election going on — Vote, everyone!

Was it just about her being in the trunk though? …
Well, it didn’t help the situation. 😃
…I understand that you can rationalize why Jessica Rabbits new look isn’t out of character but the intention behind why they made that change doesn’t bother you? Particularly when taking all other recent changes in consideration?
While I wasn’t there to witness exactly what prompted the decision to change Jessica’s outfit… yes, the change made me roll my eyes in frustration.

But at least this change works fairly well in context and doesn’t harm the dark, chaotic atmosphere of the ride.

Compared to Enchanted Wish, A hen for a ten, TBA, replacing American history with Cars at MK, or many other similar changes… Jessica’s trench coat is at least a smaller-scale compromise that doesn’t significantly change the experience.

We did, but his comments say that he doesn't remember making it.

Yes, women have different body shapes. I'm not saying change her body shape* at all. I'm saying change the costume so that she's still got her body type but is covered up and make her kind of a bad *ss in the second one. This isn't a Victorian attitude either; real actresses have been asking "yeah, can this costume cover things better? Please?"

*Not that Jessica Rabbit is representative of a real woman. She'd be a freak of nature with those proportions, and she'd also be having major back problems.
Funny how everyone defending her skimpy outfit is male.

"I'm not bad, I'm just drawn that way" sounds to me like she would change her clothes if she could.

Reminds me of all of the stupid sexy versions of work uniforms that women have had to put up with to keep a job.

Yeah, plus I think the script was supposed to take place in the 50s? An outfit change would make sense.

I'm waiting for the sequel to go down in price, lol. December is going to be a chaotic work month, and I likely won't have time to play, so I may as well wait for it to go on sale.

Haven't decided whether to get it for console (PS5) or PC.

I forgot to mention when I was there...regarding the security...

I had a guard going through my meds. This was an everyday thing at DL (and sometimes my meds set off the detectors at WDW) NBD. I had one who asked me what my epinephrine was. No big deal, it's newer and is square and doesn't look like a traditional epi pen. But it clearly has medical text on it and says what it is. I let it go...at first.

Then he pulled out one of my inhalers and asked what it was.

After that, I was like, okay, let's bring our brains to work, mkay? 😂

*He was the only one who asked about the epinephrine and inhaler.

I agree with Waltography that it makes less of a difference during the holidays but Mondays will be busier. Mostly I think due to Imagine and Enchant MK blackouts. A Monday is pretty much the only way an Imagine pass can stay at a hotel in the area and only take one day off school/ work. Enchants have access to the park on Sundays but Sunday/ Monday is popular for better hotel rates. Of course then you have any pass or ticket type that may just want to do an extended weekend. With all of that said, considering the Cons you listed and that you are a seasoned park goer I’d say stick with the current plans.
Thanks. Yeah, I think I'm going to just stick with my original plans and not rock the boat if something gets messed up while changing things around.

I believe yesterday, today, and tomorrow are Tier-0 days, so that coupled with lower passes being unblocked (and the hotel rates you mentioned) it makes sense as to why it was so busy.

I could have done Thanksgiving week, but it's Tier-6 that week so much more expensive and this is a bit of a budget trip for me this time around.

I'll have LLMP and be there for two days, so I shouldn't have a problem doing everything I want to do.

Yeah I think that’s the right move.

My theory is that Tier 3 and Tier 4 days are probably the sweet spot when it comes to crowds. Tier 5 and Tier 6 are priced so high because they historically have higher demand. Tier 0-2 are priced lower because they historically have less demand but the lower price ends up enticing enough people to more than make up the difference. Which leaves Tier 3 and 4 as the sweet spot. Haven’t quite tested it out yet though.

I appreciate Lincoln, but it's definitely very old school and could be seen as dry or didactic in presentation, arguably more so than just about anything else in the park.

I've brought friends and family members to see it, including people with history backgrounds; my late Grandfather was the only one who appreciated it, and even he probably slept through some of it.

I'm gonna trigger some people and say Great Moments is one of the most boring shows I've ever seen.

I'M SORRY OKAY?
Totally agree. I would have been happy if they put Muppetvision in there. The Walt AA figure should make it a little more interesting.

I think they should replace the Hall of Presidents with an AA show on the birth of the country and the Revolutionary War. It would fit the land better and people won't freak out over our new President.
