The Million $$$$ Month Vacation..

I would start mine off with a stay at a 2 bedroom club level suite at AKL.... Follwed by Boardwalk with a deluxe room, club level. The Garden Suite looks nice but it overlooks the gardens and I'd rather overlook the boardwalk :) Third week I'd have to go with a 2 bedroom MK view villa at BLT and close it out with a week at the Poly, MK view suite, of course! :)

One of my DH's ambitions is to stay at Contemporary one day, so I think that would have to be the one. Grand Floridian is beautiful (ate at Victoria and Albert for our wedding anniversary one year), but I think I would feel a little uptight staying there somehow. Contemporary or Poly would feel more relaxing to me personally. AKL Savannah view is on the list for one day, and would love to try Beach Club one day too :)

We need time for things to happen.
well I first have to say that a million dollars after taxes ain't going to get me retired.
Maybe with a few good investments I can retire early.....Since we're doing "fantasy' scenario can I make a hundred million?
Then i never, ever, ever, never, ever, never have to go back to work....ever?

If so then I would say my WDW month long Vaca would look just like this:

1 Week at Wilderness Lodge best room, best view..if that's club level then that's what it'll be.
1 Week at the Contemporary best room best view
2 Weeks at Poly Best room best view.

Then as soon as I got done I'd be on a plane for a couple month tour of all the Disney Parks around the world.
Yeah that sounds about right.

Did I mention I'd never ever, ever, ever, never, ever, never, ever never be going back to work. never?

Even if I won the lottery I don't think I would want to spend a month at Disney. I would love to do 10 or even 12 days at the Wilderness Lodge though. This would give me enough park days as well as relaxation by the pool days. I would also splurge and get Park Hopper tickets (even if I did not use them other than to get to Epcot for dinner) and I would love to have a nice sit down dinner every night in a different country in Epcot. :)

My husband and I have had this discussion when the jackpot gets really big but he always brings up the annoying point of "If you don't play the lottery you aren't going to win". Dang, why are the PA Dutch so practical? Well anyhoo, on to my list:

Week 1 - POFQ of POR (I've always wanted to stay here at least once)
Week 2 - Contemporary (This one is for my sweetie)
Week 3 - Polynesian (We almost stayed here on our honeymoon, but I overruled for WL)
Week 4 - WL (Home sweet home for our final week)

Well obviously staying in any of the Deluxe resorts would be a treat, so deciding on which one would be difficult, well to some degree at least for me!
I am creature of habit and have OCD's to a fault so I would require a place that would at least have some of the amenities of my house so I am comfortable and feel at home!
I going to need: A place that has a bunch of space especially if I am traveling with others, I don't always like to eat out so a kitchen would be necessary, plus I like to entertain so I am going to need room for that too. I like peace and quiet but would also want to be near the action since I like to go out and enjoy the nightlife! I am thinking all in all I have basically discribed a 3 bedroom Villa at the Boardwalk or Sarasota Springs resorts! Though preferably not on the boardwalk or near the pool but it would have to be somewhere on the water but not facing a parking lot.
Can you say Picky?!? :)

I think i would do a Disney wedding (re-marrige/exchanging vows kinda thing)
Followed by a week @ Animal kingdom lodge (savanah room of course)
then 3 weeks @ Our beloved Coronado Springs. However i would rent out the entire building section of the Rancho's that we would be staying in . This woud stop the noisy neighbours etc :D

Good Monday Morning..Wow! Just read a thread this morning where a member is asking for advice on either the Poly or GF for their vacation. But quoting " Money was no problem "....Wow! What a feeling..Anyway this got me thinking..( as usual ).. What if you won the big one..The million dollar lottery..You retire and decide to spend a month, that's right,4 weeks inside the magic bubble...Excluding your ADRS.. What resort or resorts would you stay at..???...For myself, I would spend the first week in my favourite resort PORS,then move to WL for my second week,on my third week I would try the GF.( Time for a visit to the barbers on Main Street ) And on my fourth week, back to my beloved PORS...So folks, how would you spend a month at Disney..One resort or a tour of the resorts.?;)

My gut was going to to have to say GF. It is our fave resort. That being said....BC/YC is really inching its way up there so I am torn by tossing that out there out there. Hmmmmm.....Maybe a split of two weeks at each - and I guess after those two weeks at each place I will be able to say for sure which one is my fave.

This is so hard! So many resorts to choose from. I think I would choose based on which parks I was going to. Animal Kingdom days would be spentat the presidential suite at AKL. Epcot days would be at the Boardwalk in a suite. Magic Kingdom would be Poly or Contemporary in a suite. HS time I think I would probably choose WL only because it is one I want to try.
