The Mara

I'm guessing that "with" is meant to be a "where" ... ;)

Um, if you take the elevators in the lobby down to the Jiko/Boma restaurants (or alternatively walk down the stairs past the bar) and exit the building through the doors there leading to the pool, take a sharp left and follow the outdoor path which skirts the exterior of Boma. The Mara is directly ahead.

This map should help:

Okay sorry, I know this isn't really about the Mara. But is Jiko a "dress-code" restaurant? Because different sites are telling me different things and well, WDWmagic has always been my #1 source :) Thank ya! :)

Yes, it is business casual. It is a signature restaurant and I beleive all signature restaurants require the same dress code. It seems there is always one person that has a sleeveless shirt on and looks like they just ran a marathon, but I recommend cleaning up and dressing nice. Enjoy!

Sorry, I'm probably going to sound completley dumb lol, but what sort of clothes are Business Casual? .
:)

Business Casual for the guys means "no tie"! WOOHOO!

Kakis and a Golf Shirt or buttondown with loafers would be my choice.

For the ladies, no business suits. Maybe a nice casual dress or comfortable pants and a blouse or sweater.

In general, no ripped up jeans, shorts, or concert t's and you should be OK!

What are 'zebra domes'?
A really yummy dessert. Here's the recipe. It will give you an idea of what exactly it is. If you google 'zebra domes' and click on 'images' you will find some pictures.

What in the African Stew? We're hitting AKL Aug. 21 and will be going to Mara, probably more than once.
It is a thick stew with big chunks of tender meat served in a brown bread bowl.

The stew is on the left of this pic. The Zebra domes on on the bottom right :slurp:

I typically wear a collar shirt and nice dress shorts. Remember this is Florida and it can get hot out there. Many people wear short in the signature restaurants, but I would not recommend cut-offs or any jean short.
