Hey if anyone has the list of stores that will be staying open (even though its preliminary) if you could post it here (or a link to it) that'd be great! Thanks!

I dunno, but i know one in Arizona already closed - i'd assume others that will close have done so or started to already as well.

wow already? I work in store #465 in Deptford, NJ, and we haven't been told if we are closing or not... I think we'll be safe though we do pretty well for our district.

I suspect east coast stores will do fairly well in the closings. Disney World has a following along the coast and those people tend to shop at Disney stores.

Thanks much. I read it, and no I did not read the entire docket, but the word "remaining" threw me. Is that "remaining" open, or on the "remaining" list to close?Thanks

Bug, it is a little tricky, the docket is at the top, and has 11 pages, #91 is the second page. Then go to 39-40

I had an old version of adobe. I've been meaning to get an updated version so I finally did it.

I hope that list isn't final cause my store isn't on it. I really only need the job through the summer but it will make me sad if the store does close.

The list says remaining stores. I believe that means these are the ones that won't be closing.

I don't think this is the list that will be remaining open. If you count the list there's only 105 stores on. Disney is holding on to more than 105. From personal experience, I work at a Disney Store that was not on the list where as another store less than 10 miles away was on that list. My store outperforms the "remaining store" consistently. I just don't see how the store I work at will close opposed to the other store.

Plus the Disney Store in Scranton PA is staying open? Has anyone seen the Office and how they talk about there being nothing in Scranton?

Quick thought, Disney said they would be acquiring back 2/3 of the Disney Stores from Hoop Retail, and the remaining would be closed. This would put the cost of closing the stores on Children's Place. Since this list comes off the Hoop Retail's bankruptcy papers, wouldn't the term "remaining stores" be the stores that Disney is not buying back, and therefore would be REMAINING with Children's Place. I would put money that this is the closing list.

I have to agree with the "those are the closing stores" theory. There are three in my area that are on the list and they do not come close to taking in as much $ as my wife's store does (which is not on that list). Who knows, just buckle up and keep your hands inside the vehicle at all times. Good luck to all TDS cast members.

From what I understand, CP is 100% getting out of Disney Store. They will no longer have anything to do with the Franchise.

Disney will take ownership of about 225 stores and the rest will shutter.
I dont really know about the legalities but the ending result will be a new Disney Store chain (around 225) with Disney having full ownership of the chain and CP totally out of it.

There have been stores that have been closing even before TCP & Disney made the announcement. I don't know if those stores are included on the list - I would think they wouldn't be since they have closed already.
