Where, in Disney California Adventure Park, would a celebration themed to The Lion King fit thematically? Hollywoodland, right? Might as well turn the rest of the park into Disney's Hollywood Studios West.

The whole park is built on the corpse of Timon.

Just plopping the show right there underscores how little Lion King has to do with California or Pixar or anything beyond Disney Synergy.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. They need to install a permanent stage that can collapse on itself so they can do shows like this and not worry about taking it all down for World of Color

Not to beat a dead horse... but man does Disney's concept art suck now. This is the most uninspired promotional image I've ever seen. This is almost worse than this gem:
