Has anyone purchase products from the Laughing Place Store (www.laughingplacestore.com)? If so, how happy have you been with their service? Is it reliable and on time?

I don't want to go into the long story, but I did make a purchase a while back and I am still waiting for it even after they have charged my credit card. I really want the products I ordered but a month of waiting is causing me to get a little upset especially when they told me it would ship last week and they had upgraded me to 2-day shipping.

hmm... a month is an unreasonable amount of time! Keep us informed since that would make a difference for me to order or not. Did they give you a reason for it being so long?

They apologized the first time, saying they were having shipping system problems. They haven't answered my last two requests for additional information yet.

Call your credit card company and get them involved. Advise them you have not received the merchandise purchased and the retailer has stopped responding. They may credit your account back.

I've ordered several items from the Laughing Place and had great luck with them. I think they must have been having problems as I have always received my merchandise in a timely manner. They have even gone so far as to go to the parks to purchase an item for me that they didn't have in stock. Hopefully this experience won't leave a bad taste in your mouth and you'll give them another try.

Thanks, MsSnuzi. That is what I was hoping to hear. I will keep trying for another week, but I don't want this to go on forever. I really like the service they offer so I don't want to have hard feelings of this with them, but I did place a rather expensive order for Christmas gifts and I don't want to just let it go on forever.

So sorry to hear this. I had really bad luck with an on line company that I had ordered from before just fine (strollers4less.com) and the same thing happened. They charged my card and one month later had not shipped my order (a $300 stroller) I was so fed up with them I could scream and I got no real answer from them (infact it was rather your answer, they were having shipping problems). I keep giving them one more week too. I wish I hadn't. I canceld and placed it with a different online store who shipped it the very next day. I had it 2 days later.

Long story short 3 months later they still hadn't reversed the charges, I called and talked to someone instead of email and she took it off right then. Keep calling and talk to people, not emails. It is too easy to put people off by emails. I had placed the mater on disput with my Disney Visa and was not required to pay it with my monthy bill.

I have never ordered from them. Their prices seem extremly inflated. :lookaroun

I have used them several times without any problems. I have always used standard shipping and have usually gotten my order within 2 weeks.

Their prices are higher than the parks, but we're not in the parks, we're a captive audience. Most of the prices seem to be from 10% to 25% higher than one would find in that parks.

Interestingly, my husband asked about them. I think he wants to get me some pins for stocking stuffers. Anyways, he relayed some of the prices, and asked if I thought they were inflated, as he thought they were. (He was at WDW with me a couple of weeks ago while I bought some pins, so had a rough idea of costs.) I told him to wait until next weekend, and buy them in the park. I promise not to look. :animwink:

Good news! They shipped the order second day at their expense. I know the prices were inflated, but I knew the general prices of things and only bought things that were not marked up too much or that I really needed.

I only get to Disney once a year so when hubby cancelled the last trip to DTD on me and we headed out, I was short a few things that I needed for Christmas. That is why I decided to use this service.

Thanks for everyone's replies on this. I just wanted to make sure I had not made a mistake in ordering with them since it was taking so long.
