So Oz the Great and Powerful was a big hit at the box office, and a sequel has been confirmed. If the sequel does well too, I think it would be nice to create a land based on the franchise, as Oz is indisputably one of the most loved fantasy lands, and it hasn't properly come to theme parks yet.
(There was a 'Land of Oz' in Universal Studios Japan, but that was a half-hearted effort to say the least and it has now closed.)
Here is what I'd do...
And how would you bring Oz to WDW?

Here is what I'd do...
- 'Soarin' Over Oz' - re-theme Soarin' to make it Oz themed. The video would start with the tornado, and then soar past the hot air balloon, the witches flying, the emerald city, the munchkin city, the whimsy woods, the dark forest and the winkie country.
- The whole of 'The Land' (next to Soarin') would be converted into the 'Garden of Oz', with yellow brick roads and amazing theming. It would also include a hot air balloon ride (similar to Flik's Flyers), and perhaps some sort of water ride?
- Phase II would be to extend the Garden of Oz all the way to the Imagination! pavilion, and convert the Imagination Pavilion! into the Emerald City, which would include various shops, and a live Oz-themed show (perhaps like the show Oscar Diggs put on in the circus tent).
