So we ate at Boma's last night. It was astonishing in two ways

People featured:
Myself (15)
The insane but sane brother of mine.:p (12)
My mom.
My friend, Kyle. (16)
My friend's mom.
My friend's dad.
My friend's brother, Colton (13)
foreign exchange student who is also a friend, Pascal. (15)
My dad had to fly back to Atlanta to finish some business, so he wasn't here, but he will be here tonight (a day after these events)
My Great Aunt
My grandmother

Firstly: We started at the parks really late yesterday, like it was about 2:00pm, and we only went to Animal Kingdom to ride Kali once, so since our friend's are DVC's they are staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge so we could go to the Jambo House Pool. So... we simply went on Kali in our swimsuits and then kept them on for the Animal Kingdom Lodge Pool. The "kids" (myself included) went to the pool while everyone was at their room.

When we were done we took showers at the showers they have there and what not, but we had no underwear because we wore it under our swimsuits:bored::cyclops:. Not exactly the best idea...

So anyway we had been trying to make two reservations for Boma's to be at the same side for both of our families. We got them, but we had to wait 30 minutes to get them to combine, which we were okay with especially since the resort is so beautiful. Myself, Kyle, and Pascal went to see some giraffes and what not, and they had night-vision binoculars which was very cool, not to mention you could see fireworks in the backdrop so we were told not to look up with them.

The next adventure we would have would be Boma's itself believe it or not:hilarious:.

So Boma's was great and all, but my grandmother who is 70 and has high blood pressure, and a completely messed up foot (a few years ago, at MK there was a 400 pound women on a 100+ pound scooter and she ran over my grandmother's right foot and ever since then she has had foot problems) so someone at Boma's accidently knocked over a plate on her foot -- the platefell on the side and it landed right where her foot had problems, so the pain was extreme for her. We were at the other side of Boma's (near the entrance, while she was in the buffet) so most of us except for my mom and my friend's mom we were all not with her. Anyway the Disney people quickly rushed over and once I saw that I had a bad feeling so I looked for them in the buffet and sure enough it was for my grandmother. They were helping.
The people around them (I was told) were incredible people that prevented her from falling. Someone volunteered their chair for her to sit at. The Disney Emergency people were there quickly and helped her. Her blood pressure was 200+ over some number I cannot remember. My Friend's dad her mom needs a wheelchair due to a disability, so once we found out he went running to get my friend's mom wheelchair for my grandmother. So Disney called Paramedics and were very professional. Thankfully everything was alright, she does have to wear a boot now, but nothing major happened, but who thought you would have to go to the ER by a plate falling on your foot. So here we are now and thank God everything is okay and we are going to MK.

Let's hope this was the last crazy day of the trip, and that we will have a blast! Thankfully the day was still fun, Pascal got absolutely drenched on Kali!
Since she was at the ER with my mom, great aunt, and friend's mom -- the rest of us were playing PS4, foosball, Pool, taking photos at the DVC hall, and then we had an air hockey tournament at Kidani Village.

Myself Pascal and my Brother, my mom, dad, my great aunt and my grandmother are staying in adjoining rooms at the Shades of Green, so I helped my grandmother through the room and what not, but then Pascal my brother and I played cards for like an hour. Everything is okay thankfully and now today it's going to be a great day!

@David2319 Are you going back to Epcot? If you are, make sure to go to the Canada pavilion to pick up a special 150th birthday pin!

I'm going to be at Disney next weekend for the Marathon Weekend (doing the 10K). I somehow managed to get FEA fastpasses, which is very exciting. Now I wish I hadn't watched the video, but oh well... :(
Hey!!! Yeah I was there earlier today, and I somehow missed your post:bookworm::confused:, but I will be there once more at some point. I'll be at AK tomorrow.

Good luck in the race! I have a friend coming down who's doing the half marathon so I'm going to be in WDW too to see him. I wanted to do one but I didn't sign up in time :p

Also, I must say that FEA is definitely a lot better in person than in the video (especially the Let it go scene!).
Yes, thanks for asking!!!
She's in a wheelchair because of her foot, but everything is good now!!!:)

So today we went to Epcot and OH MY GOODNESS. It was madness. We had to go in the backstage area for Soarin', and it took nearly an hour for FastPass+ in the backstage area. Also the new theater is identical. It was still great though. Also... Universe of Energy maybe the last time:cry:.
Also rode Frozen: Ever After:p

And then we rode Tower of Terror twice, RRC, Toy Story Midway Mania on the new track, and star Tours twice. HWS had far less crowds!!!:D

Next time I'm in Epcot, I half want to go on UoE during like Illuminations or something as the last ride of the night when it will be even less busy so I can get a moving theater all to myself :D :p

I feel like maelstrom fade a quaint personal adventure to it. Unlike many other Disney ride it was easy to lose a sense of direction or time. Frozen lost this for me despite it being longer it felt shorter and heartless. Just my thoughts of the ride. If it had more space and a more fast pace vehicle it would be better in my opinion.

I don't disagree with that. While I think Frozenstrom is good, it's definitely not the same type of experience as Maelstrom. I really do think a purpose built Frozen ride would have been amazing, whether for MK or DHS.

Agree 100%!!! Perhaps it's that we know the story so we expect more? Idk, but it definitely was longer yet felt shorter for me.
