What do you mean by that?
I was riding Rock n' Rollercoaster so sorry for the late response:p

Suess Landing and Marvel superhero Island for instance feel cool, but they seem more flat -- I don't know how to describe it. I guess MSI is themed to the style of comic books, but it feels like they used that theme to make it cost less and it feels kind of billboardish and concretish. And the new rides' lines are epic: Potter and Kong perfect examples, but even the epic Spider-Man lacks a decent line.

Everything is still very well themed, but for me, Potter is better than Disney's best theming, but everything else is less. Hard to explain, I guess it's more personal preference than anything:p

MSI is themed after the comics, though even as a Marvel fan - I find that it looks really tacky. But don't ever say that in News and Rumors...because everything Uni is special :p:rolleyes:

The Potter queue might be my favorite in all of Orlando. Were you able to go to Diagon Alley too?

Definitely. It's actually quite funny that they use the 90's comics on Spidey since they have the rights to them:hilarious:. I think it sounds good on paper (the comic-theme) but 100% agree on the tackiness. I can guarantee you that if they were to make it now they would use a more pricey:greedy:, different style. Still, it's not bad, but much like the tents in Fantasyland just odd. :D

Yeah we also went to Diagon Alley as well. Spent 90% of the day at IOA though -- definitely the superior park.

Also I would like to mention that many of the recent premium things Disney has added recently (priority parking etc.) Uni had before.
I still love Disney and Universal, both are incredible places to be!!

I agree IoA is definitely the better of the two.

The Rip Rocket coaster was pretty fun last time we went to Uni though:bookworm:

Also didn't get to ride the Rip Ride Rockit due to US having longer waits than IOA. And couldn't ride Hulk either because it broke down when we were in the vehicle:confused:. So no major coasters, but the queues for the newer Uni rides are excellent. Hulk is a good example for that. I feel like it is officially on par with Disney now, but before Potter it wasn't, so they only spent money on rides not queues back then like Disney used to do with the Fantasyland Dark Rides, but Uni used to do that with their headliners.

I'm so happy though now that the Parks are becoming a theme park war between Uni and Dis, so we win!!!

But here we go: Saturday is Mako!!!!!
