This is pretty much OT regarding everything else, and on a rival's website :)eek:!), but I've gone and posted my proposal for week 1 of Theme Park Apprentice Tournament of Champions.

"Design a non-thrilling dark ride around an IP of your own creation," they said. And while my competitors so far have done medieval fantasies in Disney parks, I've gone a very different route and placed Mexican wrestlers in Six Flags. A preview:

Incredible again Douglas! You never cease to amaze me!

WHile all this Pandora things has happened two other things have made a quieter debut over at Disney's Hollywood Studios. First off is one show which was announced ahead in time, and even popped up last in A Twist in Time in a concept by @spacemt354 . Coincidence? i think not!:p:D
The Music of Pixar - at the Premier Theater
comedy-warehouse-premier-theater.jpg

Every afternoon - enjoy a 35 minute seronade from a symphony orchestra playing some of the most famous Pixar soundstracks with visuals from the film to go along with it. This daily concert will be an incredible experience for families young and old, and add a new touch to the Pixar celebration. Where in, we don't only celebrate the characters, and story, but the powerful music that guides the films along.

Albeit the show is 15 minutes, and housed in the Theater of Stars, but same exact concept and time frame of it to exist. Without further ado, The Music of PIXAR Live Concert

the second debut was a show that was rumored on here for a week, and was announced the day of within the parks. Giving all Disney fans about 12 hours to get ready for the new show. Without further ado Disney Movie Magic, a live action only Celebrate the Magic.

This is really good! I can perfectly see how this ride will go, and just the difference of theme from the others makes this memorable. It's fun, has an actual history, but can be enjoyed even by those who don't know about luchadores. A+

Not really a minecraft fan but that map is awesome. Will have to go check out the park itself
The park's located in Glendale, Arizona, and I'm told by management it opened this weekend for the summer season.

Oh...check it out on the other website! I forget, the parks I write about don't automatically exist in the real world. :arghh: Hope you enjoy it, and a general thanks to everyone who's following my Tournament of Champions adventures! :)

Cannot say I'm an enormous Minecraft fan either - someone who is can comment on how well I've handled the property. I've known a ton of young children who are simply obsessed with the game, and it's the #2 highest selling game of all time (after Tetris), so it seemed a smart game to use for this challenge.

Free Museums today! I'll be back with reviews.
D'Orsay: Awesome. Beautiful Impressionist paintings
L'Orangerie: Monet's Water Lillies, gorgeous. Interesting temporary exhibition from Tokyo as well.
Cluny: My personal favorite. The Lady and the Unicorn is beautiful.
Pompidou: Hated. Modern art is just not something I enjoy.

I think I'd mostly agree. Wasnt a huge fan of pompidou. Looking at it now reminds of GOTG mission breakout

My feelings right now

Wow! So this was my first thread on the forums?

Recommended listening for this commentary:

I have to say...reading this thread and my earliest posts on the forums made me cringe a little on the inside. However, that's not to say that I don't believe this idea still has merit. Very simply, from my own biased perspective, I don't see Aerosmith as particularly attraction worthy; there is nothing special or unique about Aerosmith!

Now, before the Aero-heads tell me to "Walk This Way" and get on the band wagon, let me give you a demonstration.

Which of the following pictures makes you think of a theme park (be completely honest with yourself)?

If you said Exhibit A,

KISS's image practically screams theme park. The outrageous costumes, their boisterous shows, Gene Simmons's tongue, you get the idea! Rock 'n' Roller Coaster barely fits into Hollywood Studios anyway, so why not make it more fun (but then again, what does fit in Hollywood Studios these days?)

Let me clarify that I don't dislike Aerosmith (however, bias alert, I do prefer KISS). I simply don't think Aerosmith would fit well in any theme park. From a big picture perspective, Aerosmith is as standard as rock bands get. When KISS walks on stage, even if you've never seen KISS you won't forget them!
