Thanks for posting that. I got hooked into reading another thread a few days ago when the permits were first posted and the pie in the sky rumors started flying. Now there's legitimacy to it which is awesome.
Don't know how practical using it will always be, but adding any transportation option as an alternative to what's available can't be anything but a positive.

Hehe -- you know I'm not a big fan of the gondola location:p....only gives Disney an excuse to jack up the price of 2 value resorts, and a moderate. And it increases traffic to the Epcot resorts.

A gondola from DAK Lodge, DAK, Blizzard Beach, and Coronado -- would have eliminated busses as well...but also given DAK Lodge a transportation other than busses to its neighboring theme park. It's the only deluxe to have busses and no other form of transport.

Gondola distance to DAK area is too large and to slow. I expect Disney to continue looking at solutions but I foresee light rail

Oh space don't be so silly, it's all in Disney's plan to make an Art of Animation stay the same as one at a Deluxe cost wise. The following prices may not match up with yours, but its for my planned trip this year -

My brother suggested to just ride the animals they have at the lodge. I'm not so sure that's the way to go about transportation though :p
