The Imagineer Season 3-- Sign Ups!

Good Afternoon Inspiring Imagineers,

The hit Imagineering Forum game, The Imagineer, is back and better than ever. After some trials and tribulations from Seasons 1 & 2, the Imagineer Management Team has an even better season on the horizon.

The Sign Ups for this season are a bit different than past seasons, but still easy, and they help get your Imagineering juices flowing. Instead of simply just posting here, I would like to sign up, this is your first ‘challenge’, but it’s simple. Your challenge: to think of a new themed land concept and backstory for Disney’s Animal Kingdom, just no Beastly Kingdomme’s or anything similar.

The amount of people that will be chosen for the beginning of the season, and Round 1 will not be disclosed until the ending of sign ups, but we can tell you that the amount of people for this season, will be different in past seasons.

After ‘The Imagineer Suggestion Box’ thread was a hit, we took many suggestions into account and we hope that this season will be bigger and better than ever.

All you have to do to ‘Sign Up’ is PM me (MaterA113) your idea for the Land Backstory/Concept Idea for Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Even if you don’t make the ‘final cast’ you will be on the ‘waiting list’ for any members of the ‘Final Cast’ that drop out or quit.

Sign Ups begin (today) July 19th and end on Wednesday August 4th. The ‘Final Cast’ will be announced/notified on Thursday August 5th, and the whole Season 3 Competition will begin on Friday August 6th

This competition will NOT interfere with The League of Dreamers so, if you are a LoD-er and would like to participate in The Imagineer feel free to sign up for entry.

hmmm...I have a lot of ideas for this...I'm just not sure I will have the time to really put into playing this one! (even though I had an absolute blast last time around!)

I'll attempt to figure something out by the end of sign-ups. Also, do we have to go into huge detail for the land with attractions and stuff or do we just have to show a main idea without going into huge detail?

Given that we dont have any 'bumps in the road' or time problmes its SCHEDULED to end in middle of November.

You need to send me (via PM) a BRIEF idea of a new land for DAK (NO BEASTLY KINGDOMME IDEAS!!) and you will be submitted into the game.


As of now, everyone has a spot, BUT if we have more ppl sign up than the alotted number of spots we have (which is undisclosed now.. hehe) we will use your ideas to see who is in and out.

Game Begins August 6th! Final Deadline for Submissions is August 4th!!!

Ok, i think that ive found a way that we can get more people to sign up!

Right now i have 5 people signed up... Once we get to 8 people (so three more) I'll reveal Announcement/Twist #1.

And once we get to 12 people (so 7 more), ill announce 'Twist' #2!
