1. Why do you want to become a judge for The Imagineer?

Every night before i go to sleep I think about the changes I would make if i had creative say over WDW. When I say every I mean every. I also love the brainstorming that takes place on this site and I get extremely pumped by the amount of thought that goes into this.

2. How would you be an asset to this team? How would you be a liability?

I am 3 years into a 5 year bachelors of architecture degree at Pratt Institute in NYC. I have been groomed here to keep an open mind and constantly push my creativity. My projects have been published on three separate occasions and have been archived into the school.

I knew when I was 5 years old that I wanted to be part of the magic and have been to the world 14 times which is alot for a 21 year old that lives in NY. My greatest asset would have to be the fact that I would like to see more changes that benefit us "hardcore disney fans" and less media/money grabbing. I know that disney is now a company not a man but i think more has to be done to honor us and the mans original vision.

3. If you could, what is one thing you would change about this contest?

I think the contest needs to push forward graphically. There are plenty of people on here that are proficient in photoshop and other programs so i would like to see more concepts fleshed out in this manner.

4. What would other people say about you, regarding your involvement in this competition?

I am pretty new on this site and have never competed. Im a quick learner and know that this will not detract from me being a judge. I may be slightly un familiar with this specific competition but i am no stranger to WDW.

5. Why should we hire you

I am willing to work for free.
no really. I am very used to having my own creative work judged by teachers and faculty and i really feel like I can bring alot to the table

Thanks for your time

^That's a pretty freakin' good resume. And I got in just as a friend and a part - time armchair imagineer with a few successful projects! Remember that you're grading works done by non-professionals, so the bar is slowly yet certainly surely raised every challenge. I agree; Photoshoppers and such should have a bigger presence in the competition. Plus, we need a little more NY in this competition!

Let's see some more people for try-outs! This'll be fun!

1. Why do you want to become a judge for The Imagineer?
Because it would be a fun time and a great way to measure the talent of disney imagineering fans in this forum.

2. How would you be an asset to this team? How would you be a liability?
I have a degree in animation and I am an avid armchair imagineer myself, I made this thread that got pretty popular.

3. If you could, what is one thing you would change about this contest?
shift in focus to ideas and stories to level the playing field for those who are not as technically profficient with programs and such. also add challenges as elaborate as parades or as simple as a new trash can design/concept.

4. What would other people say about you, regarding your involvement in this competition?
That I am a fair and concise judge.

5. Why should we hire you?
I believe I am capable of giving good constructive criticism and have a good eye for story, relevance and skill level.

If you have any inkling that you would like to join the Imagineer staff, please don't hesitate to post. Even if you don't get the job, it's a lot of fun for everyone to read!

Also, once again, if you would rather compete in The Imagineer, part of the current prize is a spot on the judging roster. So, it's up to you.

It's a game involving your Imagineering skills in which you compete against other players from the boards. We give projects, and you complete them according to a set of criteria and in time for a deadline. We (Mater, myself, DisneySon, Bam and MadHatter) will then judge your projects, and the player with the worst scores will be eliminated. The projects go until we have our winner.

This season is a little different, so be sure to sign up in our other thread. The roster's already full, but you'll be on the waiting list, in case we have a dropout. Plus, everybody that signs up gets a chance to compete in our first project.

I hope I see you in the near future, mew.
