to all the judges that decide to mention my edison part:

I know :D lol. I was hurrying when i went thru it quick, and wrote down all the ideas i had for it, and it didn't get edited. I had a shortened version to use, but I guess i didnt convey that well enough and the team didnt get a chance to fix it :) (it cut out the biographical part, with some other fluff too, disneyson)

so, when you all mention mine was too long, thanks, I knew beforehand

... i'm still pretty proud of it :)

I forgot to put in there, congrats to my team, i think it looked great, and to the Chip and Dale Imagination Rangers, good game! I got scared some, I admit, i thot you guys had a good one going! :D

Great job everyone.

On the story scene, I admit I could've done WAY more with it than I had finally posted. I was a little confused on which direction the project was taking and I decided to do something that wouldn't feel out of place in the entire ride. Overall though, I really liked this concept.

All I have to say is; can't wait for more Epcot projects. :D

After a while of deliberation it was a hard choice. Figmntal nominated Stitchcastle and circusole.

TrevorA and I thought long and hard. First, circusole you are safe as you did the position you were assigned and it wasnt really our "downfall" that the team lost. That leaves Stitchcastle and Figmntal. Stitchcastle you have been a good asset to the team and we agree that yes you do have good ideas that aren't heard, and you do have lots of potential, but it hasnt come to the front yet, as others sqwash or ignore them, though you did seem a bit absent throughout this challenge, but we have to say that you are safe as we look through the past challenges you have worked hard and had good ideas. So im sorry to say, Figmntal you are eliminated. Because you are the team leader it seemed you were an ok team leader, but it seemed MOST of the discussion was about the RFID technology (i will explain how i feel about this in my comments), and didnt focus on the story/attraction portion. And overall it seemed your leadership wasnt really there, sorry.

PS At the time i PM'd you i said you were safe yes, but after TrevorA and I talked it seemed like the only option, once again, im sorry.

My comments will be posted soon. And judges feel free to post comments now!

Project 4 Comments:

Goofy’s Brainstormers—I must say, you surprised me, greatly! I was a bit iffy on the theme and such on the thread, BUT the final project is great for what you did. It does incorporate the imagination aspect, I was hesitant it would be similar to Spaceship Earth, which it is, but not too similar. My main problem was you didn’t have one main host, and for me the hosts are important, as Figment is just a side character NOT the main character. One final thing, the Spark is SUCH a great idea, but where can I get my spark? Can I send it to myself? Play with it? It is a great idea, just wish you had a set host that traveled with you to the different places of the imagination. But overall well done. As always LOVE LOVE LOVE the drawings, and loved loved loved detailed descriptions.

Chip N Dale’s Imagineering Rangers—I am a bit surprised, in the beginning you all seemed great, and the storyline seemed ok, but as you progressed the storyline, in my opinion, fell flat. I don’t understand the Dark Figment, Figment isnt suppose to be a villain, and having TWO figments to me (and im sure the audience) is confusing. Then as opposed to the other team where they didn’t have a set “host”, you did, BUT I think that fell flat as well. Why Steve Carell? To me he seems to be a random person. And im not a FAN of the BIG celebrities in the attraction (i.e. Ellen). And why the name, it seems to be generic. Look at Dreamfinder, his name is important as he is a Dream Finder, and Dr. Nigel Channing is a Doctor in the Imagination Institute, Michael Baxter is TOO generic (all around the host needs WORK), why not think of you’re your own character and look (i.e. new AA, similar to Dreamfinder). I think your story fell flat because you spend a GOOD majority of your time on the technology of the RFID technology, WHICH isnt proven to work yet, OR be popular. What happens if the RFID doesn’t work? Does that equal broken down ride? Overall, I feel the technology (which wasn’t that extravagant in my opinion) took the time, then oh man, we need a ride… ok. And it seems the ride was kind of thrown together, the attraction, IMHO, lacked detail, compared to the other teams, which is the MAIN reason why I chose Goofy’s Brainstormers over y’all.

Overall it was a good try with both teams, with tweaks; both attractions could be in WDW. And this was a hard choice for the winner, AND the eliminate.

I sincerely apologize for my lack of response toward projects in this round. I will be sure to make that a priority from this point forward.

Now then, on with the show.

Goofy's Barinstormers - Fractal514

Before I go all "Eeyore" on your behinds, I better congratulate you on another win. So, congratulations. Now, let's get down to the nitty gritty. Your attraction was very concrete in nature, which can be a good thing and a bad thing. It helps get the message across, sure, but I wasn't entertained. You called it "Imagination 101", which was very fitting for the tone of the ride. I'm just glad that you didn't hand us our homework at the exit. Remember this: entertain first, educate second. You guys work really well as a team, you just need to tighten some screws.

Chip & Dale's Imagineering Rangers - Tazer19

I honestly think that you guys had the better idea, yet again. But, unfortunately for you, the execution of the concept did not pan out. I felt that your version of the ride was surprisingly similar to the attraction that resides in the pavilion now. I mean, granted that Dark Figment upstages on Regular Figment's mischief and you replaced Monty Python with The Office, it wasn't that different. On a different note, I did like the idea of the questionnaire-turned-dream, as it were. But, it would have been more suited to the ImageWorks section of the pavilion. Overall, I wish you guys had gone a different direction with this.

I wonder if you didn't confuse the two... Ours had the creating the spark thing...

One of the concepts that really didn't translate into the finished project, because I ran out of time, was that you would create the spark in the ride, and really play with it and be able to purchase products to take it home in the Imageworks.
