Wanted to share my immunity project because I'm super proud of it, especially the Dan Aykroyd scare actors screaming at you to buy their vodka :hilarious: :hilarious: :hilarious:

Christmas with the Kranks: The Maze

This maze will be inspired by the insane commercialism at play around the holiday season, seeing the titular Kranks putting on the maze in-universe as a way to upstage everyone else on the block as far as over the top tacky Christmas decorations go. The neighbors are none too happy though, so watch out for the Dan Aykroyd scare actors who shout at you to "FREE FROSTY" and "BUY CRYSTAL SKULL VODKA!!!" as you go through the wayward winter wonderland of the Kranks where the TRUE villain is the cynicism of the holiday season which has only been amplified ten-fold since the release of the already infamously cynical film.

Challenge Eight: A Suite Stay - The Imagineer REDUX

With all that @MechFigment nonsense over with it's time we set some things right! Team Creators you all heard the Timekeeper you can take this time to relax a bit from bluesky Imagineering, and for those of you who want to stay busy now is as good of a time as any to start getting your resumes ready for the final three ;) More information for these resumes will be released soon, but expect a series of questions that reflect on your work from the Imaginarium.

Next up on the docket let us welcome Team Rebounders! Yes in all this chaos with @MechFigment it would seem that one player was eliminated much too early. Team Rebounders one of you will have a chance to rebound from elimination, and reenter the competition. Who will be deciding who reenters? Your fellow Rebounders! Yes as the end of this challenge everyone will vote for the imagineer they believe deserves a second chance in the Imaginarium. In the event of a tie I will step in and decide, and as a final note you will not be able to vote for yourself; you must vote for someone else. Now you may be wondering just who are these Team Rebounders? Well....

Team Rebounders
@b-wolf95
@Henry Mystic
@HomeImagineer
@Brer Panther
@DisneyFan18
@JokersWild
@Shannoninthemagic
@MickeyWaffleCo.

That's right every player who has competed has agreed to come back for this special challenge! This will make for quite an interesting challenge.

Now onto the actual challenge! Many years ago in The Imagineer two teams were tasked with creating two separate resorts one strictly Deluxe and one strictly DVC for the Walt Disney World Resort. In the time since then we have seen a wave of resorts built with DVC already baked in, and plenty of DVC added to existent deluxe resorts. Taking a REDUX approach to this challenge your task is to create a new Deluxe resort incorporating DVC. Sounds relatively simple, right? Well for an added twist is this project can not be tied to any existing Disney resort. This means this will be similar to Aulani, Vero Beach and Hilton Head all Disney resorts that stand on their own. Your resort can thus be placed anywhere in the world.

For those who are currently on Team Creators feel free to enjoy your time off from the Imaginarium. Unwind and pop in a bath bomb to relax; y'all deserve it! However if you want to keep on going then here's your chance to work on your resume for the final three, those currently on Team Rebounders if whoever makes it back into the competition makes it to the final three then you will also need a resume. Now just what will be needed for a resume? Well...

What has been your favorite project to work on during this competition?

What was the biggest challenge you faced while competing?

At any point did you utilize strategy during this competition, if you did how so?

Is there anything you regret that you did or didn't do during this competition?

Going into the finale who do you think is your biggest opponent, and why?

If you were any kitchen appliance which one would you want to be?

Why should you win the Imaginarium?

Tcool's Reviews

I want to start off by saying a ski resort is always nice to see, and is something that time again and again is a concept people return to. Heck even Disney had one planned, let's not forget the scrapped Mineral King resort! Pat's Peak to me is like a spiritual succesor with a modern Disney twist, and there's nothing wrong with that in my book!

The backstory is classic Disney and sets up the rest of the resort's theme and services. The location and logistics was nice to see, and a realistic way to handle Disney doing another resort as recently they have been more cautious when going outside the Disney Parks bubble. Buying out former resorts is a popular strategy with luxury brands like the Four Seasons doing it all the time so this was a great logistical move on your team's part.

The various layouts for the rooms given was a great touch, and a huge benefit of utilizing an existing property is that you can utilize those room layouts to build out your resort. The way each room layout's amenities and features was clearly labelled and demarked was a nice way to handle describing the rooms. It is very realistic, but there is one thing that I wish was included. I wish there were more modern features in the room like instead of a TV with a DVD player why not make it a smart tv capable of playing Disney+? Outside of this the hotel's amenities for all guests are great supplements to any hotel stay. One particular standout being the floor to ceiling glass walls allowing for those stunning views of nature as guests work out. In addition the inclusion of two lounges was a great touch, and having one be just for adults will definitely be enjoyed by the parents when they want a break from their kids!

The seasonal activities are a great way to highlight the differences that guests will be able to experience dependent on the time of year. For a ski resort the non winter months can be a challenge to sell to guests, but I think the various summer activities work well to tie in the nature connection that these resorts tend to have. Ropes courses, ziplining, alpine coasters, biking and hiking trails are great ways to embellish a trip during the off season!

I think the dining options are pretty solid and fall more in line with what is offered at these DVC/Deluxe resorts that are outside the parks as the dining lineup is at the other resorts such as Vero Beach and Hilton Head. I do wonder if having two table services was the best move, but y'all worked it out by having the other table service being a premier dining location focusing more on quality than seating. This difference allows for it to be set apart from your other dining options, and all in all I think your lineup of restaurants is pretty strong given the variety avaialable. Lastly there's the Birch Marketplace, I think this was a great concept and a swell way to back into Mineral King alongside the typical Disney experiences.

Overall, a fantastic job from Team Rebounders given the difficulties they faced getting this off the ground it was astounding what they could all do! A special shoutout to the guest judges who decided to join in with Team Rebounders to aid in brainstorming and getting somethings written up.

Originally there was going to be a vote from Team Rebounders on who was able to rejoin the competition, but for the most part the team was inactive. This left @MickeyWaffleCo. and @JokersWild as the backbone of this project working on most of it, and ensuring that there was something to be presented. It is due to this that I have made the decision to forgo the return of one player into the competition. Instead both @MickeyWaffleCo. and @JokersWild , if you accept the invitation, are welcomed back into the Imaginarium thanks to their hard work and dedication to the project!

Challenge Nine: A Celebratory Meal

1636644118261.png

Well Team Creators I hoped you enjoyed your week off! It's time we all once again reconvene for some libations, after all what would be defeating the evil Mech Figment be if it wasn't for sharing a celebratory meal together? Now for this challenge you must all come together, and come up with dishes for a new dining experience! Any dining experience will work as long as there is a menu with food on it, I'll count it for this project. In addition there's a twist, because there's always a twist ;), this new dining experience must be a part of an existing Disney resort. This means you can't place it into any of the theme parks, but you can place it in say the Grand Floridian or All Star Sports or Paradise Pier Hotel or well you get the picture.

Team Creators, your task is to create a new dining experience tied to any existing Disney resort. It may be as simple as a grab and go counter to something as detailed as a fine dinning restaurant or dinner show experience. The only limit is your imagination.

Hey everyone! So this week has been really stressful and I wasn't able to get my stuff done in the way I wanted. Honestly, I'm kind of feeling burn out right now and my heart and head just aren't in it right now. I'd like to formally announce that I am dropping from the competition.

Thank you to @tcool123 for how amazing it's been so far and good luck to the rest of the players. I'm excited to continue to cover your stories in More Pooh Talk

Understandable and Im glad to see you take the steps to relax and focus on yourself.

I am glad you will still be following along and continue via MPT.

With that said we will still be hosting an elimination for this challenge which means @TheOriginalTiki must still decide a bottom two to join them in the bottom three as someone will still be voted off.
