Why does everyone conseidering that TOT should be rethemed to Guardians Of The Galaxy? I love the film, and TOT's thrill factor is not my type, bt
Why does everyone keep considering that TOT should be rethemed to GOTG? As if DHS's other current areas besides Hollywood Boulevard didn't have disjointed themings. If Disney could consider on giving its theme parks more Marvel stuff, shouldn't they demolish where the current Star Tours and Indiana Jones Stunt Show Spectacular and expand that area of the park to form a Marvel-land after Star Wars Land opens?
I actually had an idea I wanted to ask you guys and gals for an opinion on - @Flippin'Flounder and @IAmNotAHufflepuff since you're here I'll just tag you but anyone can chime in! Please do
We have 25 people signed up right now, which is....amazing...however I want to make sure team dynamics are the best they can be, and I'm thinking of capping the roster at 28.
Therefore each team has 7 players. 7 players worked well for the opening of TSI, and I think it benefits everyone because let's say a few people get busy one round and can't contribute much, you still have 4-5 potentially active people brainstorming.
Also with 7 players, if you ever needed to take an internal team vote on whether to do idea A or idea B, you'd have an odd number so you'd never have a voting tie.
Thoughts on that?
Awesome!That's great!
I think they're fantastic ideas, especially the boat ride for AK. Could serve as transportation, with stuff between the stops. If you want we could do like a 2 part round where we make a new land in AK & and add the boat ride to it the following week. Also the park opening show would be very cool. There could be like massive fountains as you cross the bridges from Oasis to Discovery Island. Could act like geysers or something. Very cool ideas, don't stop dreamin' them up! @Fox&Hound
Some of you had similar ideas to mine, so I'm definitely down.
Here's an idea I thought of yesterday while at the parks:
- New interactive experience around a park, similar to another SoTMK or Agent P. Or multiple parks... I'd share my example, but it'd give away my cool idea.
Definitely! We'll find a way to include all these!Love it! These are a great way to entertain people! This could be a fun challenge!
Can you PM me your idea, I'd love to help you figure it out.Good point - 8 it is!
We will figure out the points when the time comes...I have a plan for it though
Certainly! Can you PM me your idea, I'd love to help you figure it out.
I have I couple of ideas that might be worth sharing-
- Completely redesign Disney Quest in Orlando to fit the Disney Springs Theme. You could either modernize the Disney Quest concept inside or demolish the building and do something else with it.
- Pull off a successful Guardians of the Galaxy TOT overlay.
- Finish the DCA makeover by redesigning Hollywood Land. The only trick is you have to use the Hollywood theme. No Marvel allowed!
- What if Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party was actually frightening? The task would be to take the Magic Kingdoms Halloween event and crank the scare factor up to 11!
- Design an E-ticket for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter for Universal Studios Hollywood in the place of Dragon Challenge.
Thoughts?
Love the DCA Hollywood makeover and the scary Halloween parade. Awesome! Although sitting and listening to that "Boo to You" soundtrack is pretty scary in its own right! =)
April 30th would be halfway to Halloween! Maybe that's when we have this challenge! It's not just the parade, but rather the entire event. Spooky, huh?
Ducktales? Oh heck yes!!Challenge Idea: How about designing a land or mini land around the iconic Disney afternoon (Gummi Bears, Darkwing Duck, Ducktales, Goof Troop, Tail Spin)??????
Ducktales? Oh heck yes!!
I believe @IAmNotAHufflepuff didn't your team want to do something like this for the TSI DHS project? I'd love to see this.
And now it can be!We sort of did, although @TheOriginalTiki threw it in at the last minute. It wasn't done to its fullest potential.
While not a challenge idea I need to pose a very important question....
Where in the United States of America is Tokyo?
