Time to start working on the duel for me :geek:

I feel like Journey into Imagination has been done to death of the boards though, I know I've worked on at least one...I'm thinking picking one of the more lesser done ones...:cautious::p;)

General question to anyone- how does my avatar look? Like is it a clear image? Because the full picture I cropped it from looks great, but looking at the avatar on my phone it looks blurry
Looks good!

The Seven Potters Challenge - For Gryffindor!

1 - Western River Expedition
ThunderMesaOverviewB.png

With this replacement for Tom Sawyer Island, due to the size and expansiveness of the replacement, the Rivers of America will be narrowed, thus making the Liberty Belle Riverboat more of a walk-through, rather than a ride. Nevertheless, this replacement will be worth it as a massive E-ticket attraction will take guests through the Frontiers of America on a raft ride through the untamed wilderness. Nestled next to Big Thunder Mountain, Frontierland will now have a large and expansive mountain range that would rival the real American West. The attraction itself will be a dark ride/thrill ride with plenty of physical and visual effects throughout the attraction. It will be the new shining piece of Frontierland for all to see.

2 - The Oregon Trail

Oregon-Trail-Violations.jpg

Ok no..not the computer game:p The actual Oregon Trail...

The Oregon Trail will be a walk through interactive expedition around Frontierland and finishing at the Frontierland Station, (doubling as the Transcontinental Railroad) This adventure will be a hiking trail that will have a bridge that you must climb over the Rivers of America, passing the backside of the Pocahontas area on the Walt Disney World Railroad. Continuing your trail you'll walk around Big Thunder Mountain which will offer spectacular vistas of the mountain from a wide variety of angles. You'll then finish at the Railroad station where the Oregon Trail ends.

3 - Cars Land
Cars-Land-At-Night-Wide.jpg

Gosh I'm selling out and I'm only on the 3rd replacement:hilarious: If the Tom Saywer Island is removed and the Rivers of America filled up, there is a huge expansive land area right there for a version of Cars Land. It may not be as magnificent or as awe-inspiring as the one in California due to space limitations, however, an altered version of it with just a dark ride of the Radiator Springs Racers attraction, and walk through trails of the area, could work.

The attraction would add a popular addition the the Magic Kingdom, and add to the Frontier mountain range as well, with canyons of Arizona. Overall, while an IP, it could be an option down the road, if it doesn't get placed in DHS (even though I want it to stay only in DCA)

4 - The Grand Canyon
Disneyland_Santa_Fe_RR.jpg

While not the real Grand Canyon, this replacement will offer guests the opportunity to travel and explore the trails of Arizona and one of earth's 7 natural wonders. On this walking trail, you can see audio-animatronic animals and effects that add to the experience of being in the caverns of the Grand Canyon. You can also climb to the top of the canyons for an amazing view of the Magic Kingdom and the rest of Frontierland. From the Walt Disney World Railroad as well, this will offer a nice easter egg to the Grand Canyon Dinorama on the Disneyland Railroad. Overall, this addition will spice up the Tom Sawyer Island area, and add to the Frontierland aesthetic.

5 - Yellowstone
Yellowstone-Teton-Elk-Sunset.jpg

Phew - #5, following in the same vein as the Grand Canyon, another one of our National Parks here in the Frontiers of America, Yellowstone National Park. Another walk-through interactive area akin to Tom Sawyer Island, however themed to the National Park in our West. Equipped with audio animatornics and informational posts along the way, exploring the history of Yellowstone, this attraction will also tie into the Wilderness Lodge as well. Since Big Thunder Mountain is inspired by Bryce Canyon in Utah, the location of Wyoming and Montana somewhat east and North of BTMR actually fits the geography of the land. Making this a realistic option in order to keep the American Map in tact (which Splash Mountain kinda ruined, but nevertheless)

6 - Stage Coach Ride Thru the West

FrontierlandTrio.jpg

A make-believe island in Colorado in the 1860s, Frestwood Island will be the new Tom Sawyer Island, offering stage coach rides through the wilderness. This will be a unique attraction for WDW and the Magic Kingdom. Using actual horses, like the ones on Main Street, this attraction will be inspired by the Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, and give guests a live in park view of what it was like in the old west. With a backstory in play about Art Frestwood and his western island, this will add to the depth of Frontierland as well.

7 - Rainbow Caverns

be49a133a7e3999014b14ca369ef8ada.jpg

Keeping the island in tact and replacing the theme with an exploration theme through the caverns of the wilderness, rainbow caverns will be a breath-taking walk through attraction. Imagine sailing to an island now for magic and mysticism. When you depart your raft and begin to trek through the island, you walk into these magnificent caverns that glow in rainbow colors. The colors surround you and embellish you with awe. This will bring some Magic back to the Magic Kingdom and also add to the supernatural aspects of Frontierland (especially with the runaway ghost mine train next door)

You died of dysentery. Try again? :p

So today me and my dad decided to take a car ride around the country side of New Jersey earlier this afternoon. And all day I been dreaming and gaining more ideas for what a Woodland area or land would appear like if it ever got addend in Animal Kingdom. So far I'm still picturing the land to be like the former Camp Minnie Mickey area that would either replace Dinoland (Mainly Dinorama) or Rafiki's Planet Watch. But there's so much detail that I been putting into this land that I'm having trouble deciding for where this area would fit at. I'm picturing it to be filled with trees with a big area dedicated to a few Disney films that take place in the Forest. Can anyone help me out with what area this would fit perfect at?

Also I been having Bambi on the mind all day today (Mainly Thumper along with his sisters and Flower) since I been also thinking about what the meet and greet section for the Bambi characters would appear like. So far I'm imagining Flower meet and greet area to be based on the scene where he was sleeping during the winter from the first film where Bambi and Thumper were looking for him.

There's a huge plot of land behind Kali River Rapids, if you think the area would be too small by Dinorama. I think that could be a nice location!
