I stayed in French Quarter last June with my cousin. It was great, especially since I've stayed mostly offsite recently, but POFQ is indeed a great resort. I have also stayed in Yacht Club, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Wilderness Lodge, and the Boardwalk before. I was supposed to be in the Contemporary this past January, but that trip was unfortunately cancelled.

I understand the staying offsite, most of my recent Disney Trips have been offsite due to my parents vacation club, but then again $200 - $300 for a 2 bedroom condo for a week is something I won't complain about.

TBH, the reason I've been staying offsite is because almost all of my recent trips have been because my father has had meetings in Orlando. I've just been tagging along with him.

There are some nice timeshare digs offsite. We've done a good bit of that over the years. Only downside is location but I'm a big fan of orange lake, summer bay and to some extent vacation village at parkway

My favorite resort that I have stayed at are in no particular order
  • Caribbean Beach in a Pirate Room
  • Coronado Springs, where I scraped my knee once because I tripped with my sandals on the pavement.
  • All - Star Music : Broadway Section
  • All - Star Movies : Fantasia Section
  • Pop Century : Any Section
The reason for the high amount of values was because over time school became an important thing so we spent less time at hotels and more at parks. So now if I go to Disney property I'll usually be staying at a value simply because my parents rather not drive on vacation, and instead use the buses.

Now in terms of hotels I like from I've seen in no particular order
  • Animal Kingdom Lodge, I may have stayed here prior to my first birthday since my parents say I have stayed at AKL somewhere between less than one to barely two.
  • Port Orleans - Riverside
  • The Polynesian Village Resort
  • Boardwalk
  • Beach Club
