It should probably come as no surprise that my favorite theme park attraction of all time is the Enchanted Tiki Room at Disneyland. To me the Tiki Room represents an absolute peak of Walt's creative talent in that he went from creating animated movies to designing an attraction that feels like stepping into a cartoon. The whole thing has a feel and structure like it's a Silly Symphony short.

I'll never forget the first time I went when I was 11 years old. I'll never forget my crusade as a 12 year old to save it from the "Under New Management" fate by marathoning the attraction all day. I'll never forget my most recent trip there where I reunited with Maynard who I have vivid memories of from when I was a kid. Just an all around magical experience every time. Plus you get to take food in, so it's basically dinner theater!

As a roller coaster junkie, that's a WHOLE different animal from "theme park attraction". I'd have to say right now the best roller coaster I've personally experienced is Tatsu at Magic Mountain. Phenomenal feeling of flying, great use of the terrain, and the most insane, messed up, intense, face melting inversion I've ever experienced!

Granted there's still a TON of coasters I need to get to. Still have my eyes on Cedar Point some time in the next couple years.
