Getting acknowledgement from celebrities (one who has worked for Disney) only encourages this behavior.

Somewhere around 75 times through Small World should put them in a catatonic state and render them harmless. ;)

LOS ANGELES (AP) — An attorney says a disabled man was awarded $8,000 by Disneyland after the "It's A Small World" ride broke down, stranding him for a half hour while the theme song played continuously.

Lawyer David Geffen says Jose Martinez didn't medically stabilize for three hours after the ride broke down in 2009.

Disneyland spokeswoman Suzi Brown said the Anaheim theme park believes it provided appropriate assistance during the incident, and is disappointed that the court did not fully agree.

Geffen says Martinez uses a wheelchair, suffers from panic attacks and high blood pressure, which was aggravated by a need to urinate.

Geffen says half the award ordered Friday is for pain and suffering, and the rest is for a violation of disability law. Brown says the violations have been addressed.

He should have been awarded more. When S:E or HM break down, the audio is muted. Not so on PotC (and seemingly IaSW). After 10 minutes being stuck on PoTC, the audio was starting to drive us batty and we all were starting to get angry. All rides should have a mute for a breakdown to prevent audio torture.

We got stuck on the current JII at the end where they play the chorus. The lights were out, but unfortunately the music still played for at least 10 minutes...

Police and security guards can have cordial, even fun, conversations with people in custody, especially if they weren't apprehended for something violent or didn't resist arrest. Being apprehended for bad behavior doesn't mean your guards have to put you facing a corner and scowl at you and shame you like your parents did when you misbehaved.

Doesn't mean the perps don't have to answer to justice... whatever Disney decides to do with them in the end.

Sigh...There are so many adults acting worse than children in public nowadays. These people would rather satisfy their selfish desires to accomplish nothing other than disturbing others than be a good example to future generations. When a person feels the need to shout at a robot, maybe it’s time to visit a psychiatrist. If you have constructive criticism about something, voice it to the right people, but let’s not become a society of whining babies.

And just because I expect my previous comment to be justifiably removed; I wish it to be known publicly, forthrightly, and unapologetically that I like cheese. Thank you.

Oh, but we have become a society of self centered, whining babies

Shout at a robot and annoy paying patrons - many with children - watching a show.
It's sociopathic behavior.
