Wow, so many of these I have never seen, and most I never will.
The Andy Griffith Show hands down. Never even heard of The Wire.
Come on...Andy, Opie, Barney, Aunt Bea, Earnest T. Bass, Gomer, Otis, Floyd and many more memorable characters.
Beverly Hillbillies had the highest ratings of any series ever.mine would be Beverly Hillbillies/Green Acres/Petticoat Junction they interacted together
Lost in Space, Brady Bunch,Bewitched
Well, yeah, cause they had a see-ment pond!Beverly Hillbillies had the highest ratings of any series ever.
Ellie Mae swimming in it might have helped too.Well, yeah, cause they had a see-ment pond!
Whilst I've heard it referenced on other shows, I don't think it's ever made it to our glorious shores in the UK. Having seen your clip, I don't think that's such a bad thing however
It is all about opinions though. For instance my wife swears by the British comedy 'George & Mildred', I on the other hand just swear when it comes on
Only British comedy I'm familiar with other than Month Python is Fawlty Towers. Many years ago a local public channel used to show Fawlty Towers and it cracked me up. Must not have been many episodes though, as I remember they kept showing the same few episodes over and over.
