Well, obviously I'm gonna be the last one to say "I'm taking a stand!";)

However, I will say this - I'm going to Orlando next weekend and we're just going to Universal. 5 years ago, I could not have possibly done that. I figure now it's because I love Universal so much. But could it be more than that? I don't know. Only time will tell.
That is the type of response that should get TDO's attention. Sure, you are but one family, but when enough of us take this stance, then perhaps TDO will pay attention.

I can't tell if this is all sarcasm or if people are actually this upset about napkins. I'm take in the other details so much that I don't think I ever noticed that the napkins were printed in the first place.

Not sarcasm. People are really upset. I think if everything else was perfect and this change happened nobody would care or at least care enough to complain about it. I would tend to agree with you that most people wouldn't have noticed the difference if it wasn't pointed out. I probably would not have.

Here's one of my photos showing the last horrendous Disney Parks napkin design, along with one of my refilled Pecos Bill toppings bar salads:

You know what, now that you say that I do remember the castles. I guess I just didn't really pay attention.

It is NOT sarcasm, but it has to do with a lot more than napkins.

There are some things that bug me about the parks, I just see napkins as lower on the list. Maybe were taking more than their share of napkins and Disney decided to go to a less attractive option.

Here's a good example:

What if Disney decided to stop selling Mickey Mouse Ice Cream bars and Ice Cream sandwiches, and replaced them with ordinary ice cream novelties, would that change the taste of the ice cream? Or how about Mickey Mouse waffles? What if those were to go away? Would the waffles taste any different? Of course not.

But would people care? I know I sure would.
Don't give them any ideas.

I was just there today and they were printed
We also were at MK and stopped at several food carts along the way. (BTW, DW had a Dole Whip for the first time and loved it!) All had generic grey napkins. Are you thinking of the smaller square drink napkins (which were printed when we ate at The Plaza and Mama Melrose's on August 3) or the larger rectangular napkins (which were not printed)?

You are robbing people from their joy of complaint. Don't dare tell them that any of the Splash AA's are working properly.
I was just there yesterday and the "jumping water" was not working. ;) I think everything else was working but I'm not a Splash Mountain expert.:)

Also ran into many friendly and helpful CMs, the food at The Plaza and Mama Melrose's was good (especially the "newer" formula for the Sangria that they changed about a year ago), DW really enjoyed her first Dole Whip, BWV was as beautiful as ever, and Main Street looked good with the construction walls down.

Just give me the printed napkins that DW and I think are (were?) a really nice touch, the kind of attention to detail that we expect from Disney.
