Re: scene 2
Just a couple quick things as I noticed a couple early questions either sent my way or not about Scene 2.
1. No restrictions on the ride/attraction at MK or DH. I just threw BTM in there as quick what happens when WDW management goes bad scenario and they for instance stuck the restaurant in the middle of a drop or something. Coasters, etc are cool if they work for you.
2. Don't worry about park location necessarily unless you want to simply show how it could be realistically fit with the attraction. In many cases, anything you pick is going to mean a glut of restaurants in a section of the park. Don't want you to rule out something if it would be really amazing even if there's a dining spot 10 ft away. You could in essence assume there are no dining options and yours is the first of many amazing ones to come :)
3. The restaurant definitely doesn't have to overtake the attraction but can really be an extension of it. The 2 examples I gave were just examples of really neat themed areas that the 2 were mixed in a small way and more so at the start of each, which works for them. You may find that some attractions are a better fit like that, or maybe its midway through a ride, or at the end or whatever other attraction you can think to possibly use (hall of presidents dining area will be Huuuge :) )

Hope that helps!

So I have a question about the 'extension' of the attraction. This might just be me overthinking this, but I'm having trouble visualizing just adding a restaurant into an existing attraction without a ton of structural changes to the show buildings and stuff. Can extension of the attraction also mean within the area of the attraction?

For instance (not what we are doing) but the Tower of Terror. We threw out the option of the Tip Top Club on the 13th floor, but it would be way too expensive and force change to the building structure and only for a restaurant. But (as rumored) if you had a Tower of Terror bar, that wasn't part of the attraction, but at the exit of the attraction and in the same area, does that still count as an extension?

Clint Eastwood -- I mean @Disney Dad 3000 if you could clarify this when you get the chance:) Thank you!

There you go over thinking again. :)
Sorry if the prompt came off confusing. This was really meant more in a blue sky ish kind of way, as in a lot of cases as you said, the gift of space will probably not be your friend. Realism can still be good and help ground you, but in this case didn't want you to feel inhibited by the space available or attraction set up.
Gran Fiesta is far from the greatest ride, but that whole Mexico set up is just cool. I loved the potential idea of experiencing or entering an attraction in a new way and using dining and design to enhance that in some way or vice versa. If you guys don't take them, I have a couple of what if projects for myself along these lines.

No problem - just wanted to make sure before jumping into it! Thank you!

Anytime. I will say from the little bit of chat I glanced through, there are some really interesting ideas out there. You all are so talented, you'll produce something amazing in spite of the wacky challenge.
No I like it because it's 'challenging'! Forcing us to think outside the box -- I just wanted to make sure the ideas we have were somewhat close to the box :joyfull:
