Mmm.. I could really go for some bacon and toast..

*snaps back into reality*

Oh, you mean no one is buying me breakfast? Ah, well, looks like it's gonna be a roll of Ritz crackers. Again. Looks like I'm going to be sitting at work, eating Ritz crackers, listening to Fantasia on my iPod, and putting inventory into the computer. This all seems strangely familiar. Oh, wait, that's because I do it EVERY DAY. :brick: I need a whole 24 hours straight to catch up on sleep.

<-- very grumpy (and silly) morning person.

*But I did find out that me and Tigsmom live not too far from each other. <sings> It's a small world after all..</sings>

It's a cool, crisp, and sunny day here in the Midwest. I'm not fully awake yet and trying to take in the coffee as quickly as possible. Not working yet though.

I'll take a ham and cheese omlette over here!

Just got back from the diner...my DH had a ham & cheese omlette with rye toast and homefries.:lol:
Had my eggs and bacon.
Well the rain has let up for now,basement is wet but the sump is working well. Had to do some roadwork to fix the wash out, but its OK now. Gotta love living at the bottom of the hill.:brick:

I'm so hungry now! Nummy!

I hope your basement doesn't flood to bad. That's really a pain. Been there - done that. Not this year though. We're in a drought. All the rain was in the east this year.

Had it bad one year...3 ft of water, lost the corner of the foundation,furnace and hot water heater. Had to be evacuated by the fire company...not good when they come to the fire chief's house. :eek: (but we got moved to the top of the list).

Oh, wow! That's awful!

We've never had it that bad - thank goodness!
We have knotty pine walls in our basement that are water damaged in some places (just one the lower 1/2 inch) due to flooding but ya can't see it.

To whom it may concern,

Please excuse Grizz from work today. He's having a bad case of Gruntinmithrote and a touch of morsleepneeditis. I'm uncertain how long he will be out of work, but sunny days causes these conditions to perpetuate. Rainy days however are another story.
