(Sorry Hatbox, this is only for east coast ghosts)
I preferred the older version when she just had those glowing eyes and no face. Something eerie about that version, with only her heartbeat being heard.I'm surprised the Bride in the attic got any votes. Nothing against those who voted for her, but she looks too fake and masculine. I wish they'd do better with her. She needs another revamp to make her look feminine.
Agree 100%. It doesn't have to be incredibly elaborate. Sometimes simple is better.I preferred the older version when she just had those glowing eyes and no face. Something eerie about that version, with only her heartbeat being heard.
I know this is a controversial take but the hatbox ghost is definitely not all its cracked up to be. My complaint about him is that I had to ride Haunted mansion 3 times to actually observe the special effect.(Sorry Hatbox, this is only for east coast ghosts)
I've never seen the hatbox ghost in person, but in videos he doesn't look impressive. He actually looks out of place. Maybe that's just because I'm not used to seeing him there? I'm not being argumentative with this question, but can anyone help me understand his relevance? I feel like they just shoehorned him into the ride for nostalgia. It just doesn't seem to fit IMO. Just wondering if anyone has an opinion to share.I know this is a controversial take but the hatbox ghost is definitely not all its cracked up to be. You may be correct. He's just sort of there by himself.I've never seen the hatbox ghost in person, but in videos he doesn't look impressive. He actually looks out of place. That was the only part of the attraction that really felt scary. No cheesy one-liners, just an ominous heart-beatI preferred the older version when she just had those glowing eyes and no face. Something eerie about that version, with only her heartbeat being heard.
You ain't kiddin'. So, by my screen name and avatar, I'm a bit biased in the use of the Pepper's Ghost visual effect. It's just a simple and brilliant way to create a ghost in open space through forced perspective and the giant pain of glass. (Funny, at quick glance after typing "giant pain of glass", my mind automatically reads "giant pain in the [hiney].")The organist received my vote because not only is the visual effect really cool, but the amount of effort the Imagineers went through to find just the right theater organ music to accompany this scene shows a commitment to detail that I just couldn't see happening for an attraction today.
What if the ghost host is also the one playing the organ? Plot twist!
