The Poly still has an arcade?

I think they're missing out on a good revenue stream here - maybe make something similar to the current trend of retro arcade bars.
They also need to put Wreck it Ralph in there!

Hmmm, I thought the Poly still has one. Mind you, can’t find it on the website and Lilo’s Playhouse is still there!

Are there restrictions in place for arcades in Orlando? I thought they were considered a form of gambling, so to speak. I'm glad they're making a return just not sure how unless they just removed games of chance and ticket rewarding. Love me some old-school arcade cabinets and air hockey!
When they change the redemption laws a few years back it changed a few things on legality of certain games and set a prize limit on what we can put inside games.

I was thinking the same thing!
Hoping for a couple of pinball machines, I love them!
BTW, are there any left at WDW?
Where?!

There are 2 small ones at the campground but no pinballs in there to play.

TBH i really don't think there are any restrictions explicitly banning ticket games or claw machines, even Walmart has claw machines now. :) Plus Universal, Dave and Busters, etc. all have arcades with tickets and claw machines giving out prizes.

They removed redemption and prize based games...Arcade, pinball, sport shootouts are mostly used in those arcades.

Still begs the question if the Tomorrowland Light & Power would ever use the walled off area again for video games since TRON is going to be coming soon..

Although I don't hate the idea, in-park is no place for a paid game room. You paid to get in there, why waste time putting quarters into a video game? Communicore didn't charge for plays.

I was thinking the same thing about the shootin' gallery. It is also A) the only way you'd get people to move off the machines, and B) the only way Disney would ever even consider it.
