I really want to see the Hatbox Ghost for 50th. Or the Man in the Web added somewhere in the ride could be cool too.
They're completely redoing the auction scene, making the redhead a pirate and changing up to be an auction of stuff instead of women.
Because the same people that want historic statues taken down whined enough that they got what they wanted. SLAVERY IS BAD! IT NEVER HAPPENED! It's stupid.I mean, I guess it doesn't change the premise of the whole ride but why exactly are they trying to make pirates politically correct?

Some very secretive "old school" imagineers are going to burn the stitch figure from Tomorrowland on an altar...What does the future hold for HM, which is my favourite WDW attraction and is, as I have said before, possibly the greatest classic theme park dark ride ever created. Will there be any big changes, or will it be left alone, aside from any minor refurbs to keep it in good working order? Will the aging Omnimover system at HM be replaced or updated?
Not necessarily looking for facts here (although if you have some, by all means), just looking for some opinions. Alot of talk lately regarding what people think the future of POTC should be, and I was curious about what people's views are on HM moving forward.
I'd really hate to see any changes or rehabs that removes any of the existing scenes. Its a haunted mansion, they are supposed to be dark and scary. They are supposed to get your heart beating with scares and frights. Disneys version is calm compared to some I've been in. If someone enters any "haunted mansion" expecting cute and cuddly scenery like Its a small world... they are crazy. Why must things be ruined for the minority of guests whose complaints come up because they were irresponsible by bringing a child through that was too young to handle the attraction. We have height restrictions... maybe we should have sensitivity restrictions.
I thought I was the only one who liked the old hitchhiking ghost.I really really wish that TDO would remove the blurry CGI cartoon ghosts from the end of the ride and go back to the old version. MUCH more convincing, and not an effect you could see at home on any TV screen. Also I wish the awful cluttered claustrophobic new queue would go away. It's a freaking mess!

I don't know how many trips it took for me to realize what was up there. Most people don't realize it's there, thankfully.
How does the Corridor of Doors play for you guys? I've always found this section to be something of an overload. Too much stimuli rendering it memorable but not withstanding or lasting; a blip in the grand scheme of things. Sorta cliche' but somehow worse because it's cranked to 11... also literally cause it's surprisingly loud. Does anyone else feel this way about the rather long stretch of ride? Assuming it's meant to be chaotic does it read right or would you prefer to see a few changes?
side note: I don't remember it being this way. Last time I rode it was obnoxious. Did they just have the sounds up too high? I couldn't focus on anything. I'd say this was by design but I dinstrictly remember key gags and effects that just didn't land like they use to. More tweaks for the worse? Anyone experienced this on recent visits?
I think the Corridor of Doors is great. But I haven't ridden on the Mansion ride for a couple of years. Did something change?
They can't touch that part of the ride. Period. That is the classic, so many of the ghosts including the Ghost Host are there, and the famous wallpaper.
