the future of disney quest......house of mouse?

i have read somewhere on these boards that Disney quest is closing and a huge ESPN place is being put in.

now this got me a wonderin'

i have always thought that The House Of Mouse from the animated series would be an awesome restaurant,but a couldnt put my finger on anywhere it would fit.
then i thought Disney Quest.

its big enough,its in a brilliant location,it would work.

ok my idea is recreate the whole thing exactly,and have a huge screen playing new and classic disney cartoons.
and at a set time every night the show that mickey hosts could be put on,and they could have different themes for different nights.

i just think it would be a great way to see mickey,minnie and the rest of the gang outside of the hotels and parks.
it could sort of be a caracter dining experience.

what do you all think?

It really would not bother me if Disney Quest closed or not.
We visited DQ last summer & did not enjoy it very much.
But, there are others who do enjoy it.

Pretty bold statement seeing as it has been confirmed by several authoritative positions that may not have decided to tell "champion". Should attendance numbers not pick up it will CERTAINLY be closed by 2009. But I do not think that the House of Mouse restaurant would go over too well in the DTD environment.

With the new T-rex dinning experience going in soon, I don't expect to see any new themed TS locations at DTD. I think its a really cool idea for MGM though.

As far as I knew, DQ will be closing within the next few years. I wouldn't mind a place like ESPN zone to go in, but not sure how that would effect the ESPN Club at the Boardwalk.

I was there four times over this past vaca (late June-early July) and it was packed each time I was there. Just saying ...

well my other idea was to put it where the sounds dangerous show is or somewhere on sunset blvd area.

if it did go where sounds dangerous is it would require demolishing the building and building a compleatly new one,the stage as it is is nowhere big enough.
