THE FOZZ GAMES
It was a regular Friday for everyone. Some were at home, some were at school, and some were out doing stuff. It didn't matter what they were doing or where they were, something felt off. Time seemed to slow around the 10 people chosen for this task, a quest that would effect the entire multiverse. Time completely stopped, people froze in place, objects that were thrown now floated in midair, and clocks completely stopped.

A loud booming voice was heard through the sky above all 10 players 'You all have been chosen by the Lord'.

@Pi on my Cake sat confused on the park bench 'Who is the lord'.

The voice returned but lacked the conviction from before. He sounded, offended? 'How dare you not know who the Lord is, everyone knows who he is'.

@ThemeParkPriest asked 'God?'

'What no, not that Lord' the voice responded 'The other one'.

@WaltWiz1901 asked 'Darth Vader'.

'No, I may sound evil but I assure you I'm not' The voice responded, he now sounded annoyed.

'Lord Farquaad' @Mr. Sullivan asked

'Oh Jesus Christ, NO!!!'. The voice said

'That was my second guess' @ThemeParkPriest

'I'm going to take you all now' The voice said flatly

Before anyone else could respond, black smoke surrounded them and they could feel their bodies and souls being separated from this reality. Their feet touched a solid surface before the black smoke disappeared. Everyone was in the middle of a grand throne room. Several paintings of many different looking beings hung on the walls. 2 rows of guards stood ready, figures covered in white and red armor and holding double edged staffs. They led to a throne which had a familiar looking face sitting on it.

'Fozz?' @Charlie The Chatbox Ghost asked

Lord Fozzinator slowly stood up from his throne.

'YOU WILL SPEAK WHEN SPOKEN TO YOU WORTHLESS TRASH' Lord Fozzinator boomed.

The 10 players grew concerned about their safety but that was replaced with confusion after Fozz started coughing. He started to violently cough and a jet black sludge shot out of his mouth. Before the players could react, the sludge grew 2 arms and a face and slowly started to crawl towards them. It was about to attack them when a guard stepped forward and stabbed the sludge through the head. The, thing, slowly started to melt before it was absorbed by Fozz's shadow.

'Oh my me, I'm so sorry. I had that in my throat. Oh god this is embarrassing.' Fozz responded. He slowly walked down the stairs before he stood before the players. 'I am glad you all could make it, the journey was good I hope?'

'Yeah nothing like getting forcibly taken away from your reality to go on a quest' @Brer Panther said

'Yeah, sorry about that. Actually, no I’m not. I had no other choice. You guys were the only ones on call' Fozz said.

'Your telling me that there was no one else' @President Loki

'No, everyone else seemed to be, preoccupied' Fozz said while slowly looking towards the screen.

'Why are you looking over there, there's nothing there' @Disney Dad 3000

'Don't worry about it, it's not important to the plot of the game' Fozz said before quickly putting his hand over his mouth. He really should not have said that.

'Plot?' @Half/CartoonHalf/Human asked.

'Can all of you just stare into my eyes real quick' Fozz said.

'Why, oh, have I ever mentioned how good your eyes are at hypnotizing' @AidenRodriguez731.

The last 20 seconds of there lives were erased from their memories.

'Hey do you all remember anything that happened in the last 20 seconds' @Mr. Sullivan

'Nope, not at all' @President Loki

'Anyway let's get to why you are here, there is something approaching quickly from the edges of reality. It is made up of everything evil and can not currently be stopped' Fozz said rather worriedly

'If it can't be stopped then what do you want us to do?' @WaltWiz1901

'That is where you 10 come in. There is a way to stop this, thing, before it gets too close and destroys all of reality. 6 stones must be collected from 6 different beings from across the multiverse' Fozz explained

'What kind of Avengers movie plot is this’ @Brer Panther said

‘Yeah I know, this thing is taking a page out of the multiverse book. This would have been a great time to make a Meta joke about me writing this on my phone.’ Fozz said

‘How do we get these stones?’ @Pi on my Cake asked

‘6 different challenges must be completed and once those are completed they will give you the stone but they will only give it to one’ Fozz said

‘Who are they?’ @Half/CartoonHalf/Human

‘The 6 guardians. They will give it to 1 team’ Fozz said

‘Teams. We are not doing this together. Would that not be a better idea’ @Charlie The Chatbox Ghost

‘It would be better if you all were split up. The guardians thrive on competition and they would not have it any other way’ Fozz said

‘So, when do we start’ all of them said

‘Right now’ Fozz said

Before they could respond a bright flash took over them and they were transported to another world.​

PROMPT 1: THE GOLDEN AGE OF HOLLYWOOD

As most of you know MGM Studios, known today as Hollywood Studios, did not open with a lot of rides with only 2 being open. This was the main reason why it was called a half day park since you ride those 2 attractions and then, well, you would be done for the day. Of course in our timeline we got several expansions such as Star Tours and Sunset Boulevard but in this timeline those haven’t happened, yet. Your prompt is basically this.

Design MGM Studios First Expansion

This is a practice round so no one is getting eliminated but the requirements are the same. Creativity, Feasibility, and Guest Reaction will be taken into account for this round and you will be judged on how all 3 factors complement each other. This expansion can take place anywhere but consider the original MGM studios layout and what the park needs at the time (more rides). Will you stick with the movie making mindset or will you live with the characters in their own world.

Another requirement is that you are only allowed to use IP’s before 1993. You have access to some of the most well known franchises in their prime such as Indiana Jones or Star Wars but IP’s such as The new Marvel Movies or Pixar Films are prohibited.

The Guardians are not to be underestimated. They are some of the strongest ones in their realms even if some look more unassuming than others. This one has not shown itself, yet.

The Tower of Terror

Seeking to expand the reach of the Disney brand and attract new audiences to the theme parks, Michael Eisner sought to integrate a uniquely exhilarating and near universally acclaimed property into Phase 2 of Disney-MGM Studios.

The Phantom of the Opera

This was the mainstream breakout Broadway hit of the late 80s. In many ways the Hamilton of its day. With its darker themes being the perfect fit for the intense drop tower WDI was developing, but struggled to find a theme for (IRL Mel Brooks, Stephen King, and others were also considered before Twilight Zone was chosen so the idea of the Tower came before the story).

Facade/Queue

This Phantom themed thrill ride will be found at the edge of Encore Avenue. A large, abandoned theater beckons guests guests forward, but the scorch marks and clear damages warn of the dangers ahead. Once inside the lobby of the abandoned theater, a crashed chandelier serves as the centerpiece for the queue. A smoky scent fills the air as subtle references to various theater superstitions fill the space (3 burning candles in the lobby, a peacock feather in a vase, the name "MacBeth" scratched into the walls, cast members telling guests "Good Luck" before they board, etc). Eventually, guests make their way to a greenroom for the preshow.

On the TVs in the preshow room, Andrew Lloyd Webber appears. He welcomes us to the once wondrous Leroux Theater. As we can see, this place was long abandoned. Even when it was full of life, he warns us that some considered it to be cursed. He discusses the magic of theater and how these stage show can transport us into the dreamlike worlds of imagination, but warning us not to get lost in the fantasy. For even this abandoned theater is said to be Haunted by the dreams of those that came before. By the Lost loves and yearning hearts. Even after all these years some say they can still hear the Phantom's song.

With that a clap of thunder can be heard along with a maniacal cackle. The video ends and guests are ushed through a backstage area full of old props and set pieces before making it to doors labelled "Balcony Seats." Guests are told that these seats will rise into place and to take their seats for the show is about to begin.

Ride Experience

The Vehicles begin to rise as the loud cranking of machinery and the squeaky wheels of pulleys seem to move us into place. Faced with a curtain, guests wait as it rises showing a dark, empty stage. When thunder strikes a shadowy figure can be seen. A looming presence. Based on the shadows, it seems to be right behind guests but just out of sight. From the edge of the stage (using lighting effects) it seems as if a fire begins to burn and a cackle is heard.

The Vehicles lower down to the next sequence, this time stopping at what appears to be catacombs. Almost totally dark, the vehicles go forward (the fourth dimension scene). Candles light up as guests pass them showing that they are traveling through the Phantom's Lair. His boat can be seen along with his mask sitting on his throne. A reworked version of the titular song "Phantom of the Opera" written specifically for the ride begins to play as dread rises. The vehicles pull into the dark elevator shaft and the real fun begins.

The actual drop sequence is not far from the IRL Tower of Terror even down to thunder strike visuals. There are a few different simple showscenes with the biggest one that everyone sees being a chandelier drop above riders before the biggest drop. All these simple scenes seem to imply the Phantom is sabotaging the theater while we are in it, but it is all so dreamlike and esoteric. What is real? What is a dream? What is a nightmare? More vibe based than plot based. IT all ends with a cryptic warning by Andrew Lloyd Webber about how its easy to get enthralled by the theater and immersed in these worlds, just be careful not to become lost in the music of the night. The vehicles dock as the unload station and exit back to reality.​

So this is my first ever review post so forgive me for not being the most detailed or elaborate.

So first of all, I love the idea of a Disney animation themed land and better yet, you have the movies of the Disney Renaissance. I can’t really tell the full scale of the land due to the fact that the land is, lack of a better word, unfinished but this is the 1st round so you get a pass on this one.

I really like the idea of a studio animation ride themed to Disney movies and you guys nailed that bit with your main attraction. The ride does seem a bit short but I believe that is just lack of time but if it was fully fleshed out, it would really raise up the land. I heard about a 2nd attraction but it seems that wasn’t added or was written up. I do like your shops and restaurants with the names being my favorite part of the land.

Overall, this is a very solid idea but not the best execution but you can save up your imagineering brains for next round.

When I think of the 1st expansion of MGM Studios, Broadway wouldn’t be the one I would think of but I immediately loved this idea. I do have to give props to @AidenRodriguez731. This is your first game but you gave some of the most detailed descriptions of an attraction I have ever seen. Good on you old chap.

While I don’t really know Broadway, I think I would love the main attraction and it fits perfectly with the education aspect of MGM Studios. I am impressed about the knowledge of Broadway shown here and I give you a thumbs up. The idea of bringing Tower of Terror into the land and theming it to the Phantom of the Opera was simply genius. I haven’t seen the phantom of the opera but I really like the attraction.

Overall, this land is a very good idea and was really filled out and feels finished. Would it be built today, probably not but I love the idea of it being the 1st expansion.​

We all know the truth. If this land was built, it would be rethemed into a Marvel Land. Drop tower? Omnimover ride system? NYC backdrop? Pizza place to retheme into Shawarma... it writes itself.

I was just reading through the Citrus Dreaming Thread (I do it some times) and remember that one dude (who shall not be named but everyone knows who) did that thing (which won't be named but we all know what he did). The reason I bring this up is because I don't want the same thing happening to my game thread so anyone on the outside, please don't meddle in these projects. Everyone on these teams work very hard and their projects should not be deleted. The last time that happened, it didn't exactly end well for the guy so just, don't do it. From Fozz.
