Sorry, no pictures but last night during mvmcp a bunch of really big trees were being placed over by belles cottage. It's was a very weird sight seeing 30 foot tall trees moving across the landscape. By the looks of it the forest is going to be more immersive than the drawings let on. It's a lot of bigggg foliage.

Cool! Can't wait to see some pictures of this. Thanks for the info.

I recently had the good fortune to be in Disneyland. One distinguishing characteristic of their Fantasyland is A LOT more foliage. In WDW, both Fantasyland and Tomorrowland tend to feel like a concrete parking lot to me, Disneyland is more 'park-like'. Gorgeous.

So this is good news, and a big part of why I'm looking forward to this expansion. The addition of a lot of trees, and the water features, are going to make FL just a more pleasant place to stumble over stollers, um, I mean walk around in.

Bring on the trees!

Edited to add this panorama of DL's Fantasyland. This is standing beside Dumbo, with Snow White's scary adventures on the left, and, um, trees on the right. Quite the difference, huh?

I would think it would need to have extensive foliage to in any way feel like you are in a "forest" -- Anyone who has gone to Disneyland Paris can tell you what difference real, thick foliage makes in the fantasyland experience. Can't wait to see what this area looks like once ready!

Interesting pictures. Based on the pictures I took 11/9/11 it looks like there is absolutely no room for trees to be brought in. Maybe things are a lot farther along then they appear.

I am hoping for more trees as well. Like the Renfair here in Md. Only a few places are in direct sunlight, the rest of the place is heavily shaded.

And It would be nice if they just put a row of giant shade trees from tomorrowland to where the new restrooms are being built at the old skyway location.

Really excited to see this, I hope we get some more pic updates tonight or tomorrow! The two photos the other site had didn't show too much at all.

I possibly might go out there tomorrow to get over the wall pics again. Not sure though since I was just there on Wednesday.
